VNHS Boys Volleyball Sweeps Back-to-Back Openers in Ormoc Interschool Tourney
Valencia National High School (VNHS) Vanguards Boys Volleyball team started their campaign on a high note after scoring back-to-back wins on the first day of the Ormoc City Interschool Volleyball Tournament at the Barangay North Covered Court.
The Vanguards unleashed their offensive form in the morning opener, overcoming St. Peterβs College of Ormoc in straight sets, 25-9, 25-13. VNHS held the momentum in their next match and fended off a late bid of Pedro G. BaΓ±ez National High School to complete the dayβs sweep, 25-8, 25-20.
This 2-0 sweep reflects the hard work, system, and leadership behind the bench. Big shout out to the VNHS coaches and trainers who prepare the Vanguards to compete at the highest level with tireless work!
The action continues tomorrow! We invite the entire VNHS community - students, teachers, parents, and alumni - to come out, wear the school colors, and cheer on our Vanguards as they take on Cabingtan National High School and ACLC!
