Featuring 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 to make learning both meaningful and fun! ✨

Yesterday, the ARH Corner was officially opened through a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by 𝘿𝙧. 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮𝙡 𝙋. 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙙𝙤 – School Principal, 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙀𝙧𝙡𝙖 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝙈. 𝙋𝙪𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙜 – Adolescent Reproductive Health School Focal, 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙉𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝘼𝙙𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙨 – School Clinic In-Charge, and Division Nurses, 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝘼𝙨𝙝𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙨, 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙖 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙨𝙥𝙞 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙯, and 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙇𝙚𝙣𝙞 𝙅𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙯𝙚ñ𝙖𝙨, marking the start of a safe, supportive, and youth-friendly space dedicated to guidance, awareness, and empowered choices for every learner. 💙

UPDATED: Miabot na sa 45 ang nagpositibo sa HIV ang naitala sa Primary HIV Care Clinic sa Ormoc City Health karung tuiga base sa ilang datos as of September 2025.

Namatyagan sab sa city health ang paspas nga pagsaka sa magpositibo sa HIV kumpara sa mga miaging tuig ug nagtikabata ang matakdan sa maong sakit.

Giklaro sab nga dili lang mga taga Ormoc ang mubisita sa Ormoc City Health para magpa HIV test kundi apil na ang mga kasilinganang lungsod.

Dugang pa, puro gikan sa pakighilawas nga walay gamit proteksyon kasagaran ang hinungdan sa pagtinakdanay sa HIV.

Lakip sab sa risgo ang dunay multiple partners nga makighilawas labi na sa pakighilawas sa pareho lalaki.

Gi awhag sab sa Ormoc City Health ang publiko nga magpa HIV test nga LIBRE, hilabi adtong risgo ug aktibo.

Kung mag-positibo gani, mahatagan dayon ug ensaktong intervention sa gobyerno sama sa confidential counseling ug paghatag ug antiretroviral drugs (ARV).

Ang ARV usa ka tambal nga makatabang nga dili muhinay ang resistensya sa pasyente nga muabot sa ÀÌĐṢ.

Abli ang Ormoc City Health Primary HIV Care Clinic, Lunes hangtod Biyernes, 8am to 5pm. Pangitaa lang si Jimenine Anne Parrilla, ang HIV/AIDS STI, Prevention and Control Program Coordinator.

Base sab sa datos, anaa sa 298 ang HIV positive cases ang gi monitor sa City Health ug 220 niini ang active cases.

The advocacy of Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) is aligned with 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨. 𝟑𝟏, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟖, which provides the policy guidelines for implementing Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in schools, aiming to address reproductive health concerns of adolescents, including teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and the broader impact of these issues to their well-being and education.

Recently, there has been concern about our use of a misinterpreted term. We understand the sensitivity, but we want to clarify that our goal is not to provoke, but to educate. This is part of our commitment to 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and not to encourage risky behavior. The term in question, while misunderstood by some, reflects our advocacy for openness, awareness, and responsible conversations.
