January 13, 2026I The TESDA Northern Samar Provincial Office successfully conducted an inspection of Ormoc TESDC as the venue for the Assessment in Dressmaking NC II for solo parents, and we are pleased to announce that Ormoc TESDC PASSED the inspection.

The inspection confirmed that the facilities, tools, and overall assessment environment meet TESDA standards, ensuring a safe and conducive venue for the upcoming assessment.

This milestone supports the continued efforts to empower solo parents through skills development and nationally recognized certification.

Ormoc City Male Dormitory PDLs Benefit from LGU Ormoc Tech-Voc Scholarship Program.

Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) housed at the Ormoc City Male Dormitory are beneficiaries of the LGU Ormoc Scholarship Program under Technical-Vocational Education, specifically the Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM NC II) qualification.

This initiative provides PDLs with access to competency-based training and TESDA-aligned certification, enabling them to acquire technical skills that support rehabilitation, character development, and future employability upon reintegration into the community.

The PDLs will undergo a 25-day training in Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II, designed to provide them with essential technical skills and practical knowledge.
