Teacher Jessaโ€™s reflection on the Fourth Word of Jesus, โ€œMy God, my God, why have you forsaken me?โ€ was truly heartfelt and deeply moving. Her sharing came from a place of real pain and personal experience, marked by the sadness of growing up feeling abandoned. Yet, that very pain became the driving force that shaped her into a strong, successful, and independent woman.
Behind her beautiful smile is a story of tears and healing. And even in those moments of brokenness, God never abandoned her. Instead, He made ways to heal her heart, even through paths that were painful and difficult. Her journey is a powerful reminder that God does not forsake those who believe in Him. The love that surrounded her throughout her healing process is a concrete expression of Godโ€™s presence in her life.
Thank you, Teacher Jessa, for your courage in answering Godโ€™s call to share His Word. Despite the fear of being judged, you spoke with honesty and faith, and in doing so, you touched the hearts of many.

Annual Lenten Recollection with Rev. Msgr. Alex Opiniano PC.

He emphasized the importance of the 3Ms: MAINAMPOON, MATINAHORON , and MATINABANGON โ€”three qualities that each of us is encouraged to practice every day as children of God. He also reminded us that God is love, and as His children we should love one another. In that way, our one true BFF, Jesus, will be happy. โค๏ธ
