In celebration of Women’s Month, 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 are encouraged to wear anything purple on 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟲, 𝟭𝟭, 𝟭𝟴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟱 as a symbol of unity and support for women’s empowerment. By wearing purple, we recognize the important contributions of women in our families, school, and community, and we stand together in promoting respect and equal opportunities for all.

Let’s show our support and celebrate Women’s Month by wearing something purple!

The babaylans once served as leaders, healers, and guides in their communities. They were respected for their wisdom, courage, and ability to stand firm in times of uncertainty. That same strength and spirit continue to live on today, in women who speak up for what is right, who support their families, who lead in classrooms and workplaces, and who stand strong despite challenges.
