The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bataan, through Negosyo Center Orani, conducted a coordination meeting with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Orani, led by SK Federation President Stephen Hervy R. Eugenio, on July 16, 2026, at the DILG Conference Room, Municipal Hall, Orani, Bataan.
The meeting aimed to strengthen the partnership between DTI and the SK in implementing the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) and upcoming entrepreneurial seminars for the youth. Discussions focused on collaborative initiatives to promote entrepreneurship, enhance business awareness, and encourage youth participation in enterprise development.
The meeting was facilitated by Negosyo Center Business Counselor John Carlo C. Navarrete, who presented the YEP and other DTI entrepreneurship programs while coordinating future activities and participant mobilization with SK officials.
Through this collaboration, DTI – Bataan continues to empower the youth by promoting entrepreneurship, expanding economic opportunities, and fostering innovation to support inclusive local economic growth.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bataan, through Negosyo Center Orani, conducted an Information Dissemination on DTI Programs and Services for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Pag-asa and an MSME Profiling activity for tourism establishments on July 21, 2026, in Orani, Bataan. The activity covered Vista Tala Resort, Sinagtala Resort, Magarra Hotel, and KDR Adventure Camp.
The activity aimed to promote DTI programs and services, assess the current operations and business development needs of the participating tourism MSMEs, and identify appropriate interventions to enhance their competitiveness through entrepreneurial development, capacity-building, product development, and market access initiatives.
Negosyo Center Business Counselor John Carlo C. Navarrete facilitated the activity by conducting the information dissemination and business profiling to gather relevant information for possible assistance under DTI's business development programs.
DTI – Bataan remains committed to strengthening MSMEs through continuous business engagement, responsive support services, and strategic partnerships that foster sustainable and inclusive local economic development.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bataan, through Negosyo Center Orani, successfully conducted an MSME Visitation to Ruben’s Timberland Furniture & Sash Shop and Cyber Ads Art Sign on July 6, 2026, in Orani, Bataan.
The visitation aimed to assess the current business operations of MSMEs in the creative sector, identify their business development needs, and promote locally made products and services. The activity also served to determine appropriate interventions through DTI programs and services, including entrepreneurial development, product enhancement, capacity-building activities, and other initiatives that will help improve the competitiveness and sustainability of local enterprises.
The activity was led by Negosyo Center Business Counselor John Carlo C. Navarrete, who conducted business profiling and gathered relevant information to identify opportunities for possible assistance under DTI's business development programs.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bataan, through Negosyo Center Orani, successfully conducted the entrepreneurial seminar "How to Start a Small Business" for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries on June 23, 2026, at the Tourism Center, Orani, Bataan.
The activity aimed to equip participants with basic entrepreneurial knowledge and create opportunities that support the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). It also highlighted the importance of promoting local products and identifying livelihood opportunities through entrepreneurial seminars and skills development programs for aspiring entrepreneurs.
A total of thirty-three (33) 4Ps beneficiaries participated in the seminar. Discussions focused on entrepreneurship, available DTI programs and services, and potential interventions to enhance product development and improve market opportunities.
The seminar was facilitated by Business Counselor John Carlo Navarrete, who presented DTI's programs and services for MSME development. The activity was conducted in strong partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to promote inclusive economic opportunities for 4Ps beneficiaries.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bataan, through Negosyo Center Orani, successfully conducted the Innovate and Create Seminar: "FabLab Training" for potential MSMEs on June 16, 2026, at the BPSU FabLab Training Center, Balanga City, Bataan.
The activity aimed to introduce participants to innovation-driven entrepreneurship by enhancing their knowledge of digital fabrication, product design, and creative product development. It sought to inspire aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into market-ready products while supporting the growth and competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
A total of fifteen (15) potential MSMEs participated in the training. Participants were introduced to FabLab technologies and their applications in product prototyping and innovation. They also learned about DTI's programs and services, as well as available interventions that can help improve product design, increase product value, and expand market opportunities.
The training was facilitated by representatives from BPSU FabLab in partnership with Business Counselor John Carlo C. Navarrete of Negosyo Center Orani, who presented DTI's MSME development programs and encouraged participants to leverage innovation and digital fabrication as tools for business growth and product enhancement.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan, through Negosyo Center Orani, successfully conducted the “Strengthening Partnership and Consultative Meeting with the Liga ng mga Barangay of Orani” on June 9, 2026, at the DILG Conference Room in Orani, Bataan.
The activity aimed to strengthen collaboration between DTI and the Liga ng mga Barangay of Orani, led by ABC President Capt. Marvin S. Dela Cruz and Vice President Capt. Larry P. Gonzales, in support of the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Discussions focused on promoting locally produced products within the community and identifying opportunities for livelihood training programs and entrepreneurial seminars to further enhance the capabilities of MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs.
A total of twenty-five (25) Barangay Captains participated in the consultation, where they explored strategies to strengthen barangay-level support for MSMEs and discussed possible interventions to improve product development and expand market opportunities.
The activity was facilitated by Business Counselor John Carlo Navarrete, who provided updates on DTI programs and services geared toward MSME development and enterprise growth.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bataan, through Negosyo Center Orani, successfully conducted a seminar titled “How to Start a Small Business” for beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) on April 16, 2026, at the Tourism Center, Orani, Bataan.
A total of 56 participants attended the activity, which was facilitated by Business Counselor John Carlo Navarrete. The seminar provided aspiring entrepreneurs with practical knowledge on identifying business opportunities, preparing business plans, and managing basic finances. It also highlighted the importance of perseverance, creativity, and sound decision-making in sustaining a business.
The initiative forms part of DTI’s commitment to empowering communities by equipping 4Ps beneficiaries with entrepreneurial skills and opportunities for long-term self-sufficiency.
Through programs such as this, DTI Bataan continues to promote grassroots entrepreneurship and inclusive economic growth in the province.
