The Cane Home for the Elderly: HR Students Initiatives for Governance & Responsibility
Finally! After all the time, effort, and dedication we put into our charity, we have successfully completed our mission! Itโs been a long journey filled with hard work, late nights, and countless efforts, but seeing the impact weโve made makes it all worthwhile. From planning and organizing to raising funds, every step has been a true team effort. Now, as we look back on everything weโve accomplished, we can feel proud of how far weโve come and the difference weโve made in the lives of those who needed it most.
We extend our gratitude to the sisters of the Missionaries of Charity for allowing us to organize this program. We formed meaningful connections with the Lolas, and the day was filled with laughter and joy, making it thoroughly enjoyable. The program commenced with an opening prayer and remarks, followed by activities such as light exercises, where everyone participated, and introductions between us and the Lolas. We then had a delightful time with activities like "What's in the Box," followed by a coloring session, a fun game called Ponginator, and intermission and karaoke sessions with the Lolas. They enjoyed their favorite food and received our modest donations before we concluded with closing remarks and the bittersweet moment of bidding farewell. It was a heartwarming day for all involved and at the end of the day we are all grateful for everything happened during and after the event.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Missionaries of Charity for welcoming us with open arms. To the ๐ฆ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ of the Missionaries of Charity, we are very grateful for sharing your knowledge to us, we will surely treasure everything you've been shared to us HRM 3A. Also, big thank you for allowing us to connect with our beloved lolas. We also want to express our heartfelt thanks to ๐ ๐. ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐. ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ for guiding us from the very first day until we executed this program, your continuous support means so much to us. To our president, Alysa Pacho, thank you so much for putting in so much effort to make this charity event a success. To all the officers and committees (Program Committee, Sponsorship Committee, Food Committee, Documentation Committee, Media Committee, Physical Committee, and Logistics Committee), we deeply appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put into this event. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you. Everything youโve done is sincerely appreciated!
As we celebrate this success, let us carry forward the spirit of unity and kindness that has defined our journey. Thank you all for your passion, dedication, and belief in the power of giving. This program's success is a testament to what we can accomplish when we come together with purpose and compassion. God bless us all!
