Last October 14, 2025, 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 (𝗚𝗘𝗬𝗠𝘀) attended another insightful session of 𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬 was successfully conducted with the theme “𝗗𝗲𝗺𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄.”

The session featured 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗲𝗹 𝗬𝗮𝗽 as the resource speaker, who shared valuable insights on the 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝘁,, its key provisions, and the importance of protecting personal information in the digital age. Students engaged actively in the open forum, deepening their understanding of data protection and responsible digital citizenship.

The event was made possible through the collaboration of the 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 (𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗦), 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 – 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 (𝗔𝗪𝗦), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 – 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗚𝗖-𝗝𝗠𝗔).

Last September 30, 2025, the first session of 𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬 was successfully held with the theme “𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘄, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.”

The seminar highlighted the pressing issue of cybercrime—its types, effects, and the importance of protecting one’s digital presence. Participants gained valuable insights into legal provisions, preventive measures, and practical cyber tips to ensure responsible and safe online behavior.

The event was made possible in collaboration with the GC Communication Society, GCCCS Innovative Multimedia Artists Guild of Empowered Students, and the Society of Programming Enthusiasts in Computer Science (SPECS).

💡 Truly an eye-opening and empowering session that equipped the youth with knowledge to become responsible digital citizens!
