"📚✨ Today marked a marvelous milestone at Barretto Wesleyan Ecumenical School Inc. as we celebrated the culmination of English Week with our eagerly anticipated Wear What You Read competition! The entire campus buzzed with excitement as students from pre-elementary, elementary, and junior high levels poured their hearts and imaginations into crafting outfits inspired by their favorite literary works.

From the youngest bookworms who adorned themselves with characters from beloved picture books to the seasoned readers in junior high who embodied the essence of complex narratives, every participant showcased their love for literature in the most creative of ways. The halls became a runway of literary fashion, where each ensemble told a unique story and sparked conversations about the power of words.

As judges marveled at the ingenuity and passion displayed by our students, it was evident that this event wasn't just about dressing up; it was about embracing the magic of storytelling and fostering a lifelong love for reading. Whether it was a meticulously crafted costume representing a classic tale or a subtle nod to a contemporary bestseller, every detail spoke volumes about the depth of our students' engagement with literature.

Congratulations to all participants for their enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to the written word. Today, we didn't just celebrate English Week; we celebrated the joy of reading, the power of imagination, and the limitless possibilities that come from opening a book. The shirt color coding is ONLY part of the School activity "Day of Hearts : Valentine's Day" on February 14, 2024.

All students are encouraged to wear shirts with the color that corresponds to their relationship status DURING FREE TIME (booths).

We're thrilled to share the success of our recent BSP and GSP Investiture Program held on December 8-9, 2023. Under the inspiring theme "Be Prepared, Leadership for Life," our students embraced the essence of leadership and readiness.

As part of our commitment to community service, our scouts led a Coastal Clean-up initiative, embodying the spirit of environmental responsibility. Kudos to these young leaders making a positive impact in our community!
