Umugong ngayong araw ang ingay sa Regional Science High School - III sa pagdiriwang nito ng Paskuhan 2025 na may temang: "Holly Jolly Regsay."

Patok at mabenta ang mga pagkain tulad ng bibingka, cotton candy, siomai, barbeque, churro bites, taho, at marami pang ibang hatid ng iba't ibang school clubs.

Ayon kay Karen Bada, Kalihim ng Supreme Secondary Learner Government, mahalaga ang pagdiriwang ng Paskuhan upang magpasalamat sa mga biyaya at maipadama ang diwa ng Pasko.

Bida naman ang kahusayan ng Reggies sa ginanap na Paskuhan Concert.

The Eagle x Ang Sanghaya scribes sealed their tickets to the regionals by landing in multiple podium spots, capturing two overall championship titles in the secondary level for the 25th time.

A total of 14 individual and seven group awards were garnered at the Division Schools Press Conference yesterday, solidifying their position as the top-performing school in the city.

The winners are now preparing for the Regional Schools Press Conference.

After years of a victory drought, the Regional Science High School III finally claimed the top spot.

Life Science researchers Allen Montejo, Daryn Sornes, and Kirsten San Diego, alongside Innovation Expo I-RESUREC Team Leema Buenaventura, Xyreen Samson, and Charles Dizon, secured two championship titles in the Regional Science and Technology Fair 2025.

The formerโ€™s study, โ€œPhytochemical and In silico Analysis of Miracle Fruit (๐˜š๐˜บ๐˜ฏ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ฑ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ง๐˜ช๐˜ค๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ) Leaves Ligands against Androgen Receptors involving Prostate Cancer,โ€ focused on molecularly docking plant compounds against proteins implicated in the pathophysiology of the said cancer.

The โ€œI-RESUREC: Improvised Resuscitation Resource Cardiopulmonary Compression System,โ€ however, aimed at creating an automated, Arduino-powered CPR device to assist during medical emergencies.

Alongside the bagged first prizes, multiple teams have secured prestigious runner-up positions.

For the Robotics and Intelligent Machines category, Team FLOKRA of Marjom Arollado, Ayessa Enriquez, and Enrico Deloso claimed silver. Also, the individual representative Megumi Gemzon sealed bronze with โ€œPAWLINK: A Quick Release Dog Harness with Integrated GPS Tracking via Mobile App.โ€

Besides securing top spots, both contestants for the RIM category were awarded Best Presenters.

In the Mathematical and Computational Science, individual researcher King David Pasaporte garnered 3rd place with โ€œSeeHue: Assistive Mobile Application Utilizing Machine-Learning for Colorblind Drivers.โ€

Meanwhile, Physical Science Team โ€œHydromix: Hydroponic Yield Maximization through Innovative X-ray Film Recycling for Banana Peel-Reduced Silver Nanoparticlesโ€ of Vance Coronel, Mikee Manalansan, and Ahmika Reyes cleared through the cut, landing in fifth spot.

With these awards, the school was also named as the top performer for this yearโ€™s Central Luzon science fair, preparing the two research groups for the nationals next year.

RSHS III student-contestants hauled several awards in the recently concluded Roborithm 2025: Mechatronics Community today, landing in multiple podium finishes.

FLOKRA, consisting of Marjom Jenskins Arollado, Enrico Urij Deloso, and Ayessa Enriquez, lands SHS champion for the Future Innovators category. Under the JHS category, John Lee Bacoco, Katarina Parungao and Sophia Magat's AC-BOT hail as champion. Additionally, RIVEROLLIES, made up of Gillian Cailyn Grady, Stephanie Beltran, and Mier Mallari, are the 2nd runner-up for the SHS.

For the ThinkTank category, Arkin Acuรฑa, Amiel Tamoria, Rhajeem Lasser, Brayden Carinan, and Jhilian Serna were able to clinch champion. In the same category, Andrei Arlantico, Vanna Vicente, Ryalene Josafat, Megumi Gemzon, and Gerard Buhain emerge as 1st runner-up.

Meanwhile, Raniesha Quintana, Oliver Gut, Miel Linao, Robert Rodriguez II, and Franncy Olpindo finished the competition placing 2nd runner-up.

In addition, under the Roboquest Senior High School (SHS) category, Elric Fernandez, Gabriel Gabat, and Yuri Agarin rank as 1st runner-up. Lastly, under the Robomaze Junior High School (JHS) category, Alliyah Dabbs and Ysabella Faye Roque placed 2nd runner-up.

Naibigay ng bawat kalahok ang mahahalagang punto subalit mayroong ilan na siyang nangibabaw sa mga hurado at manonood.

Several students from Regional Science High School III brought home multiple awards across various categories in the National Robotics Competition 2025 yesterday.

Leema Buenaventura and Xyreen Samson secured championship in the Innovation for Healthcare Services: Prototype Division, while John Lee Bacoco and Katarina Sening Parungao earned third place in Project Ideas.

Under the โ€œRoad to Zero Wasteโ€ Innovative category, Ayessa Enriquez and Enelia Viacrusis captured 3rd place, while Gillian Grady and Stephanie Beltran finished 2nd place in the Prototype category. Senior high students Glycel Domingo and Lorin Ecura had taken the third place in the same category.

In addition, Nathan Nicdao and Nathan Capras claimed third place, while Raniesha Quintana and Oliver Gut Jr. came in fourth in the Robot Combat category.

Isinagawa ang Festival of Innovations for Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality noong Nobyembre 14 sa Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC), na pinangunahan ng Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Ecology Center. Muling ipinamalas ng mga mag-aaral ng Regional Science High School III (RSHS III) ang kanilang husay matapos masungkit ang nangungunang parangal sa parehong kompetisyong SalikSEAk at BasuraBuster.

Sa SalikSEAk, itinanghal na kampeon ang proyektong Chi-Bi-Bi: Synergistic Composite of Chitosan, Biochar, Citric Acid, and Nanofibrillated Cellulose in a Coconut Husk-Based Buoy for Microplastic and Oil Spill Mitigation, na binuo nina Arkin Jeremiah Acuรฑa, Marjom Jenskins Arollado, Christian EJ Faraon, Elric Rodcen Fernandez, Gabriel Gabat, at Yuri Agarin. Nakamit naman ng BAY-lyena: A Remote-Controlled Water Maneuvering Garbage Collecting Device with Integrated Vibration Technology and Notification System ang ikalawang puwesto, na kinabibilangan nina Vanna Vicente, Vienne Vicente, at Zyrene Tantay. Kasama rin sa SalikSEAk ang iba pang koponan mula sa RSHS III, kabilang ang unang grupo nina Ryalene Josafat, Ashley Elgincolin, at Leinnor Lumagbas; ang ikatlong grupo nina Audrey Corpuz, Andrei Arlantico, at David Pasaporte; at ang ikalimang grupo nina Jhillian Serna, Megumi Gemzon, at Jasper Ivan Co.

Samantala, sa BasuraBuster ay itinanghal na kampeon ang FLOKRA: Robotic Flocculation System Using Okra Mucilage for Microplastic Removal in Aquatic Systems, na binuo nina Marjom Jenskins Arollado, Ayessa Enriquez, at Enrico Urij Deloso. Nakamit naman ng Riverollies: Arduino Uno Automated Waste Interception Device for Pollution Control Using LoRa and Email Alert System ang ikalawang puwesto, na binuo nina Gillian Cailyn Grady, Stephanie Beltran, at Mier Mallari. Kabilang din sa mga kalahok ang ikatlong grupo na binubuo nina Emerald Deraco, Cedric Pizarro, at Seira Alomia.

With triple the number of qualifiers from last year, nine students of Regional Science High School III (RSHS III) are set to advance to the area stage of the 28th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad.

Among the 28 RSHS III delegates, the students selected to represent the school in the upcoming round come from grades 9 to 12. The roster includes Ashley Libut, Kiian Gallego, Alnezzah Altares, France Dy, John Matthew Pangan, Kurt Ybaรฑez, Oliver Gut Jr., Emmanuel Menes, and Rhayne Dela Cruz.

The competition will take place on Dec. 13.

Kyan Dimakiling, grade 12, secured the grand champion title in the regional essay writing tilt by the Philippine Statistics Authorityโ€”Region III.

As a part of the 36th National Science Month Celebration, she showcased her top-notch writing skills while representing Olongapo City, under the guidance of her coachโ€”Katherine Nuesca.

The event took place in San Fernando, Pampanga, last Oct. 21.
