Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for the Philippines of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. His life reminds us that standing for freedom and democracy can demand great courage, in order to sow a future.

May we continue to remember his legacy, not only as a figure of our history, but as a symbol of courage, democracy, and hope for a better Philippines. 🇵🇭🔰

𝗡𝗢 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 | 𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Classes at all levels, both public and private, are suspended today, Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in Odiongan, Romblon due to the continuing threat of inclement weather brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

With moderate to heavy rainfall affecting parts of Romblon, including Odiongan, and the possibility of flooding in low-lying areas and communities near rivers and waterways, this suspension aims to prioritize the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and school personnel.

As we take a break from our usual school activities, let us also take this time to stay safe and prepared. Keep updated with official weather advisories, avoid flooded and hazardous areas, and stay indoors or in a secure location whenever conditions become unsafe. If necessary, proceed to the nearest evacuation center and seek assistance.

Let us continue to look after ourselves, our families, and one another during these rainy days. Safety should always come first.

Ngayong Buwan ng Wika, ating kilalanin ang mahalagang papel ng Wikang Filipino at Artificial Intelligence (AI) sa makabagong panahon.

Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” ipinapakita kung paano nagiging katuwang ang wika at teknolohiya sa pagtuklas, pag-unawa, at pagbabahagi ng kaalaman. Bilang mga mag-aaral, mahalagang gamitin ang AI nang may pananagutan, kritikal na pag-iisip, at integridad, habang patuloy na pinahahalagahan ang Wikang Filipino bilang salamin ng ating pagkakakilanlan at kultura.

Gamitin natin ang Wikang Filipino bilang gabay sa pananaliksik at pagkatuto, at ang AI bilang makabagong kasangkapan sa pag-access at pag-unawa sa mas malawak na yaman ng impormasyon.

Sa huli, nasa atin kung paano natin gagamitin ang teknolohiya. Hindi ito dapat maging dahilan upang kalimutan ang ating wika at kultura, kundi isang paraan upang higit natin itong mapahalagahan, mapalaganap, at maipagmalaki. Sa pagsabay ng Wikang Filipino at AI, nagiging mas makabuluhan ang teknolohiya bilang katuwang sa patuloy na pagkatuto at pagtuklas ng kaalaman.
