During the STEM Robotics class, Dr. Joe visited the students as they worked on crafting imaginative building projects. The students expressed their happiness and enthusiasm, clearly enjoying the opportunity to bring their creative ideas to life through these hands-on activities.

Mr. Fontamillas approach to teaching STEM students involves immersing them in the world of robotics through engaging, hands-on crafts. By starting with simple projects, he helps students build foundational skills and understand core concepts in a practical, enjoyable way. This method not only makes learning about robotics accessible but also sparks creativity and problem-solving skills among learners.

In Grade 1, pupils begin their exploration of robotics by using Lego blocks to create simple projects. This foundational experience introduces them to basic concepts of construction and problem-solving.
As they become familiar with these principles, they will transition to using Artec Robo 2.0 blocks, where they will continue to build on their skills and engage in more advanced lessons and activities.
This progression helps to solidify their understanding and prepares them for more complex robotics challenges.
