A Historic First for RSU!

The official logo of the 9th STRASUC Culture and Arts Festival 2025 is now revealed and proudly approved by the SUCs’ Presidents and Directors of Region IV!

For the very first time in history, Romblon State University will be the proud host of this grand celebration of culture, and unity, bringing together 12 SUCs, a convergence of cultural artists, and a showcase of extraordinary talent and school pride.

Happening this October 20–24, 2025, the 9th STRASUC Culture and Arts Festival is set to transform RSU into the center stage of Region IV’s finest.

The RSU community proudly gathers for the grand University Victory Parade around the Odiongan town proper, celebrating the University’s milestone in the 2025 World University Ranking for Innovation (WURI) where RSU secured the 56th spot among the Most Innovative Universities in the World!

Leading the parade are the University Top Officials, the International Relations Office (IRO), and the winning contributors, joined by the dedicated writers, editors, and validators of RSU’s entries. College deans, faculty members, and students also walk together in this historic moment, marking yet another shining achievement for the university.

Stay tuned as the celebration continues with the Awarding Ceremony for the WURI 2025 Winning Entries later this morning.

Romblon State University marks a historic leap in global innovation rankings, soaring from 261st in 2024 to an impressive 56th in the 2025 World University Rankings for Innovation. Results of the rankings were announced earlier today during the 5th Hanseatic League of University Conference in Dumaguete, Philippines.

This milestone is further amplified by RSU’s stellar performance in key WURI categories:
