🙏 Closing Eucharistic Celebration | Diocese of Romblon Assembly of the Laity

As our Diocese of Romblon Assembly of the Laity comes to a close, we gather around the Eucharistic table to thank God for the grace of these three days of prayer, dialogue, discernment, and communion.
During this Closing Eucharistic Celebration, we also witness the oath-taking of the newly elected officers of the Romblon Diocesan Council of the Laity (RDCL), entrusting them to the Lord as they begin their ministry of service to the Church and the people of God.
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide our Diocese as we journey together in communion, participation, and mission.

The San Lorenzo Ruiz Seminary community joyfully marked Nutrition Month 2026 last July 24 with the theme “Nutrition at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan.” The celebration highlighted the seminarians’ creativity and teamwork through engaging activities such as the NutriQuiz and Cooking Contest, where academic knowledge met culinary skill. These events not only showcased talent but also embodied the values of stewardship and care for creation, reminding everyone that nutrition and ecology are deeply connected to holistic formation.
As the evening unfolded, the NutriFeud brought laughter, unity, and unforgettable joy to the seminary family. The presence of visitors added warmth and meaning to the occasion, strengthening bonds of community and shared purpose. Truly, the day was a vibrant blend of learning, fun, and fellowship, reflecting the seminary’s mission to nurture minds, bodies, and spirits in harmony with God’s creation.

Join us for the opening program of the Diocesan Assembly of the Laity as delegates from the six Vicariates, together with Lay Organizations, Movements, and Associations, gather for an evening of welcome, reflection, and Synodal Conversation.
Tonight’s program includes the welcome and roll call of delegates, a message on the synodal process of the Diocese, a special reflection, conversations per Vicariate, reporting, and synthesis.
With the theme:
“Walking Together in Communion, Participation, and Mission”
May this assembly strengthen the unity of the lay faithful and renew our shared commitment to serve the Church and society.
