The HackforGov5 will follow a Capture-the-Flag (CTF) format, where participants solve cybersecurity challenges covering domains such as Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Web Application Security, Network Forensics and Security, and other cybersecurity activities.

Each challenge contains a hidden flag that participants must identify and submit through the designated CTF platform to earn points based on the difficulty level.

HackForGov MIMAROPA 2026 will take place on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, in 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚.

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧:
1. Open to all currently enrolled college, university, and senior high school students in the MIMAROPA Region
2. Must be 26 years old or younger as of the competition year
3. Each team should have 4 members from the same school

The Regional Champion will advance to the National Competition to compete against other regional champions nationwide. The winning team will have the opportunity to represent the Philippines on the international stage! 🏆
