AGPUDLOS, San Andres, Romblon — Romblon State University continued its journey toward a stronger and more responsive future as the Strategic Development Plan (SDP) 2026–2035 Stakeholder Consultation Campaign reached the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Sciences on August 13, 2026.

The consultation served as a venue for administrators, faculty members, staff, students, and other stakeholders to engage with the proposed directions of the SDP, offering perspectives and recommendations that reflect the needs, aspirations, and realities of the RSU community.

Among the key discussions were the University’s Proposed Branding, presented by Ms. Charevel F. Ferranco, member of the SDP Core Team, and the Archipelagic Framework of the SDP, presented by Ms. Katrina De Mesa, member of the SDP Core Team. The presentations explored how RSU’s institutional identity and archipelagic perspective can help shape a development agenda grounded in its people, communities, and unique island context.

More than a presentation of plans, the consultation provided stakeholders with an opportunity to actively participate in shaping the University’s strategic direction. Through a meaningful open dialogue and feedback facilitated by the SDP Core Team and Mr. Juniel G. Lucidos, SDP Executive Manager, stakeholders shared insights that will help strengthen the proposed strategies and ensure that the SDP reflects a collective vision for RSU’s continued growth and its aspiration to become a National Archipelagic University.

The consultation campaign will continue at the RSU Main Campus next week, bringing the University one step closer to finalizing its strategic roadmap for 2026–2035.

SANTA FE, Romblon — The Strategic Development Plan (SDP) 2026–2035 Stakeholder Consultation Campaign reached the Santa Fe Campus on August 13, 2026, as Romblon State University (RSU) continued its participatory process toward shaping the University’s strategic direction for the next decade.

The consultation brought together campus administrators, faculty members, staff, students, and other stakeholders to review the proposed SDP and provide insights, recommendations, and perspectives on the University’s priorities and long-term development.

The consultation opened with a Statement of Purpose and Overview of the Activity presented by Mr. John Ronnel M. Arbis, member of the SDP Core Team.

Meanwhile, Mr. Andrei Rafael V. Fabellon of the Office of Media and Public Affairs (OMPA) presented the University’s Proposed Branding. Following this, Dr. Marvin Rick G. Forcado and Mr. Arbis, members of the SDP Core Team, presented the proposed Archipelagic Framework of the Strategic Development Plan.

The discussions centered on RSU’s strategic direction and how the proposed framework and institutional identity can support the University’s continued growth and aspiration as a National Archipelagic University. Through open discussions and feedback sessions, stakeholders shared their perspectives and recommendations, contributing valuable inputs to the refinement and finalization of the proposed SDP 2026–2035.

The SDP Stakeholder Consultation Campaign for the RSU Main Campus will proceed next week as the University moves closer to completing and finalizing its Strategic Development Plan 2026–2035.
