𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 “𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘀, 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲”

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 successfully conducted a meaningful and inspiring 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 aimed at developing the skills, confidence, and sense of responsibility of aspiring young journalists.

The seminar was organized under the guidance of 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦. 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗢. 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲, together with 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗚. 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼, who served as the host of the program.

Carrying the theme “𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘀, 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲,” the seminar emphasized that journalism goes beyond simply writing stories. It is a responsibility to 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.

The program formally began with an 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 led by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻, followed by the singing of the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 through an audio-visual presentation. The opening activities set the tone for an afternoon dedicated to learning, communication, and responsible journalism.

The event continued with the 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 delivered by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗨𝗰𝗵𝗶, who welcomed the participants and shared inspiring words to encourage students to take an active role in developing their skills and expressing themselves through responsible journalism.

The seminar then featured 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦. 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗔. 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼, who shared their valuable knowledge, experiences, and insights about the world of journalism. Through their talks, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the importance of 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝, 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 in telling stories and reporting information.

Following their sessions, the English Club conducted the 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦. 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗔. 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼 as a gesture of gratitude for generously sharing their time, expertise, and valuable insights with our young learners. Their contributions made the seminar more meaningful and inspiring for our aspiring young journalists.

The seminar concluded with the 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 delivered by 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗙. 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼, who emphasized the importance of responsible communication and encouraged the students to continue learning, writing, and using their voices for meaningful purposes.

The 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 served as a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen their understanding of journalism and to appreciate the power and responsibility that come with the written word.
