Under the supervision of LTC DAVE A MARQUEZ (INF) PA - Director of 1705th (RBL) Community Defense Center, 17th Regional Community Defense Group, and under the guidance of Mr. Edgar Andalecio, RSU - Main Campus NSTP Director, MSg Dante E Olan (MS) PA, Tactical NCO and CAPT. Armando R Mapola (RET), ROTC Coordinator, the RSU ROTC UNIT - Main Campus successfully conducted its 7th ROTC training day and the celebration of 47th National Reservist Week.

The RSU ROTC UNIT – Main Campus joins the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the nation in celebrating the 47th National Reservist Week.

We salute our Laang Kawal for their selfless dedication, patriotism, and steadfast commitment to the Filipino nation. Their discipline, constant readiness, and willingness to step forward in times of peace and adversity prove that true service transcends the uniform.

May their sacrifice continue to inspire the youth toward a life grounded in honor, duty, and service.

2 excuses are equivalent to 1 absent (any medical related excuses without medical certificate are considered null and won't be accepted)

Under the supervision of LTC DAVE A MARQUEZ (INF) PA - Director of 1705th (RBL) Community Defense Center, 17th Regional Community Defense Center, and under the guidance of Mr. Edgar Andalecio, RSU - Main Campus NSTP Director, MSg Dante E Olan (MS) PA, Tactical NCO and CAPT. Armando R Mapola (RET), ROTC Coordinator, the RSU ROTC UNIT - Main Campus successfully conducted its 6th ROTC training day.

At exactly 0700H checking of attendance was conducted by ROTC Officers followed by polishing the area around the campus.

At 0830H onwards a lecture about Citizenship Training and Military Justice System was conducted by ROTC Officers namely, C/2LT Raizza Ramos 2CL, C/2LT Adrian Rapal 2CL, C/2LT Ginios Taniongon 2CL and MSg Dante E Olan (MS) PA, Tactical NCO.

At exactly 1100H, the training day formally concluded with the proper dismissal of the cadets.

DUTY, DISCIPLINE, AND DEFENSE OF THE ENVIRONEMNT 🤝

Demonstrating its commitment to service, discipline, and environmental responsibility, RSU ROTC UNIT - Main Campus along with 1705th Community Defense Center Reservists under the supervision of COL ALEJANDRO D MALARAN MS (GSC) PA participated in the Coastal Cleanup Activity with Rotary Club of Manila Binondo Prime held at Shoreline in Agpudlos, near Footprints on August 31, 2026.

By joining hands in this endeavor, the RSU ROTC UNIT - Main Campus reaffirms its dedication not only in national service but also to protecting the environment for future generations.

Under the supervision of COL ALEJANDRO D MALARAN SC (GSC) PA, OIC - 1705th (RBL) Community Defense Center, 17th Regional Community Defense Center, and under the guidance of MSg Dante E Olan (MS) PA, Tactical NCO, the RSU ROTC UNIT - Main Campus successfully conducted its 5th ROTC training day.

At 0700H checking of attendance was conducted by ROTC Officers followed by polishing the area around the campus.

At 0800H a Basic Drills and Ceremonies was conducted with the guidance of the Graduate Military Assistants. The activity focused on improving the cadets’ discipline, coordination, precision, responsiveness, and proper ex*****on of military movements.

At 0900H onwards, a Environmental Protection was conducted by Mr. Manuel B. Romero, a forester at DENR and National Threat Security conducted by MSg Dante E Olan (MS) PA, Tactical NCO.

At exactly 1100H, the training day formally concluded with the proper dismissal of the cadets.

EMPOWERING THE BASIC CADETS THROUGH DISASTER RESILIENCE AND DRUG EDUCATION

The RSU ROTC UNIT - Main Campus successfully conducted its 4th training day, 22nd of August 2026, at the RSU Main Campus Audio Visual Room.

Focusing on holistic cadet's development, the day highlighted the lecture about the Disaster Risk Management by MDRRMO Geneza Ocampo Jasa from and Drug Education by PCMS Danny M Lanogon from Odiongan Municipal Police Station. These lecture aim to instill civic consciousness, defense preparedness, and strong moral integrity among the cadets as vital contribution to nation-building.
