The lessons that last a lifetime are often not found in textbooks, but in the people who inspire us to become better versions of ourselves.

In her Honoring of Mentors speech, Mary Joy Ermino, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology graduate with Distinction, expressed her gratitude to the teachers, advisers, and mentors whose guidance extended far beyond the classroom.

Her words remind us that while academic knowledge opens doors, it is the encouragement, wisdom, patience, and faith of mentors that help students discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and pursue their fullest potential.

To all mentors who have guided the Class of 2026, thank you for believing in your students and helping them become the future-ready individuals they are today.

The Office of the College of Computing, Multimedia Arts and Digital Innovation (CCMADI) has noted recent posts and comments circulating on social media, including anonymous student platforms, regarding the end-of-term clearance process.

​We recognize that these posts reflect genuine student concerns, and we welcome constructive feedback that helps improve our institutional processes. To ensure clarity, we would like to formally address this matter and reiterate the proper channels for raising concerns.

​The end-of-term clearance is a standard institutional requirement designed to ensure that students have fulfilled their academic and co-curricular responsibilities. We understand that questions or delays may arise, and CCMADI remains committed to resolving these in a timely, fair, and student-centered manner.

​While social media serves as a platform for expression, issues aired online often lead to misinformation or unnecessary confusion. To get immediate, accurate help, we strongly encourage all students to bypass public forums and coordinate directly with the appropriate offices. This allows the College to review individual situations accurately and provide immediate resolutions.
