🛡️ STRENGTHENING SCHOOL SAFETY AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

On September 11, 2026 (Friday), from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., the school community conducted the School Safety and Security Orientation and Tabletop Exercise on Violence Prevention and Emergency Response in collaboration with the Romblon Provincial Mobile Force Company (RPMFC), Romblon Police Provincial Office, and the Romblon Provincial Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (PECU).

The activity aimed to strengthen the awareness, preparedness, and response capabilities of employees, staff, and students in addressing potential safety and security threats and emergency situations.

📌 Part 1 – School Safety and Security Orientation
Employees, staff, and students participated in discussions on basic safety and security awareness, violence prevention, emergency preparedness, and appropriate responses during emergency situations.

📌 Part 2 – Tabletop Exercise
Employees and staff engaged in scenario-based discussions to assess the school’s procedures, roles and responsibilities, communication protocols, and decision-making processes during simulated emergency and violence-related situations.

The activity was conducted in connection with the 2026 Civil Service Week celebration and in consideration of recent safety and security concerns in school communities.

Through the collaborative efforts of the school community and our partner law enforcement units, the activity reinforced the importance of preparedness, coordination, and shared responsibility in maintaining a safe and secure learning environment.
