THE SSC ONLINE VOTING IS NOW OFFICIALLY CLOSE 🔰🎉

Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nakibahagi sa ating 1st ever online student organization election.

Ang resulta ng eleksyon na ito ay ipapaskil po namin dito, kasama ang tally both from the Voting Webpage at SSC FB Inbox.

The committee is expecting that the results will be posted on November 3, 2020 (Tuesday) or if the maaga pong mafinalize ang lahat ng boto, ipapaskil din po namin agad.

P**i unawa po na sadyang matagal ang pagbilang dahil po sa mga sumusunod na hakbang na aming kailangang gawin:

1. Check each votes sent from the SSC FB page inbox if the voter is an enrolled student of this semester.
2. Ensure that no double voting was counted. Each votes sent from the SSC FB page inbox will be compared to the names of the students who owns the student ID number reflected on the Voting Webpage.
3. Auditing of the Faculties part of the election committee monitoring.
4. Checking from OSAS that no foul play happened during the election counting.
5. Magdasal na walang internet connectivity issues na dulot ng bagyong Rolly para maretrieve po lahat ng online data. 🙏

Ang resulta sa Voting Webpage ay may tally po agad, ngunit hindi po namin ito maaring ianunsyo upang maiwasan ang confusion or false victory among our candidates.
Kailangan pong antayin ang bilang ng mga boto na ipinadala mula sa ating SSC FB Messenger/Inbox.

The results will be posted on November 3, 2020 with corresponding tally of votes. Or if all the steps mentioned above is accomplished earlier, we will post po agad.

Hello, students!

The RSU Supreme Student Council Main Campus will be conducting its first ever ONLINE ELECTION! It's your time to showcase that leader inside of you.

Although we are in the middle of a health crisis, we must continue to persist in the spirit of serving and being the voice of our fellow students. The RSU Supreme Student Council Main Campus is inviting everyone to join the election especially those aspiring student leaders.

Aspiring student leaders are requested to submit their LETTER OF INTENT to the official email address of SSC: [email protected]

Here are the requirements for aspiring student leaders according to Article 10, Sections 4, 5 and 6 of the Constitution and By-Laws:

Section 4. Student shall be elected as officers of the Council (President, Vice President,
Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, P.I.O., and Representatives), if he/she is a bona fide student of this university with at least 12 units enrolled with good academic record thus, he/she has not accumulated 6 units with a grade of 3.00 in the previous semester immediately preceding the election and has not removed from any office of whatever reason.

Section 5. Students who shall be undergoing activities such as, On the Job training and
practice teaching (PT) on the first and second semester in the next school year as reflected in their course prospectus are not qualified to run for any SSC Office.

Section 6. All qualified candidates for any position shall undergo screening by the election committee before filling-out a certificate of candidacy.

The filing of the candicacy will begin on the 16th of October until the 23rd of October, 2020.

Campaign period will start on the 26th of October 2020 until the SSC announces the actual date of the election day.

After months of waiting, an alumna and home-grown RSU full-fledged Professor returns to its fold to lead the University in another challenging chapter yet. To the RSU community, let us welcome and cheer our New President, Dr. Merian C. Mani!

Dr. Mani who is originally from Long Beach, San Agustin, is the President of Marinduque State College. She is a multi-awarded public servant and a staunch advocate of several causes. She is currently the National President of the Philippine Association of Research Managers (PHILARM). She served as the Vice President for Research and Extension during the historic conversion of RSC to a University under the leadership of the late Dr. Jeter S. Sespeñe.

Our best wishes and appreciation also go to all the other aspirants who participated in this democratic process and shared with all of us their grand plans for the University.

May we all move forward from here and take to heart the call to serve as ONE.
