𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗖𝗢𝗗𝗜 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺𝘀
The first-ever Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) Summit 2026 is underway, bringing together stakeholders from various sectors to strengthen institutional mechanisms for preventing and addressing sexual harassment and other gender-based offenses in the workplace.
Happening today at the SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City, the Summit carries the theme “Tindig Babaylan, Pang-aabuso’y Wakasan!” and sets the stage for a day of discussions, knowledge-sharing, and collective action toward safer and more accountable workplaces.

Behind every job application is a dream—to earn an honest living, support loved ones, or build a better future. Yet traffickers exploit these dreams through fraudulent online job offers and scam operations that turn hope into fear.
For many women and girls, false promises of work, education, or a better life become the very means by which they are trafficked and subjected to sexual exploitation, forced labor, online exploitation, and other forms of abuse. They deserve opportunities that lead to a better future—not lives marked by violence and exploitation.
As we observe the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀, our call grows stronger: let us ensure that no dream is ever used against those who simply seek a better life. Let us stand together to end all forms of human trafficking.
Together with government agencies, civil society organizations, and communities, the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) will continue working to prevent trafficking, protect survivors, and raise awareness so that no one else falls into the hands of traffickers.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The campus transformed into a hub of empowerment today, March 26, 2026, as we culminated our Women’s Month Celebration at the Campus Gymnasium. The program opened with a powerful message from GAD Director Ms. Carolyn D. Fetalver, who centered on "WE for Gender Equality and the vital legal mandates protecting women's rights". The inspiration continued with the "Lead like Babaylan, Filipina" talk show, featuring local 𝘑𝘶𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘴 Ms. Julie Ann M. Dayalo, Hon. Rosville L. Rivas, and Hon. Joysie M. Astillo, who shared their journeys of creating a lasting impact within the Santa Maria community.
To "GADify" the campus experience, the day also showcased student talent through Spoken Poetry and Poster-Making contests celebrating the intersection of art and advocacy. As a tribute to the backbone of our institution, the event concluded with a special Pampering Treat and a gift-giving ceremony for our dedicated RSU-SMC women faculty and staff. Today was more than just a program; it was a collective commitment to upholding the spirit of the modern Filipina in all we do.

𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐏 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒: It's a wrap! After three productive days, the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮, 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗔𝗗 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 led by the Romblon State University - Gender and Development Office has officially concluded.

We have successfully navigated the complexities of gender-responsive planning, ensuring our institutional goals are both strategic and inclusive. We are walking away with more than just documents; we have a clear roadmap for a more equitable future.
