Sa pagtatapos ng LIKHA nais naming magpahayag ng huling sentimento.

Sa mga nakaraang taon at dahil sa teknolohiya, mas lalong bumilis ang pagkalat ng mga maling impormasyon or mas kilala sa terminong FAKE NEWS.

Pinapaalala namin na maging mapagmatyag sa mga nababasa natin online. Hindi na sa iisang basahin lamang ay atin itong agad-agad na paniniwalaan.

Maging kritikal sa mga binabasa at nakakalap na impormasyon. Hindi dahil ito ay paniniwala ng nakararami ay ito ay totoo na. Hanapan ang mga ito ng mga pansuportang detalye na galing sa mga kredibol na sanggunian.

Huwag hayaang ang ating kasaysayan ay basta-basta na lamang baguhin. HUWAG NA HUWAG MAGPAPALOKO.

Socially engaged art has morphed into a vehicle for inciting emotion and demanding change, as well as a venue for contemplation, participation, and community development.

To all the scholars who showcased their creativity and social awareness through our platform, you are AMAZING!

Through your artworks, you have allowed LIKHA: The ARTChive to break the limitations. Your works allowed us to question our preconceived beliefs and critically scrutinize our society, as well as our role and obligations as citizens. It inspired us to speak up, create dialogues, research, and take action to bring change.

Your works did not only raised awareness about social issues, it has also sparked discourse, and even set off public uproar.

It's been a short journey, but it's not over yet.

We are grateful for proving that, regardless of what is going on in the world, art will continue to remind us to take a step back, think on what is going on in our world, examine our lives, connect and disconnect.

Indigenous peoples (IPs) are the inheritors and practitioners of distinct cultures and methods of interacting with others and the environment. They have kept distinct social, cultural, economic, and political traits from the dominant societies in which they live. Despite their cultural distinctions, indigenous peoples from all over the world face the same issues when it comes to protecting their rights as separate peoples.

For years, indigenous peoples have sought acknowledgement of their identity, way of life, and right to traditional lands, territories, and natural resources, but their rights have always been infringed. Indigenous peoples are perhaps one of the world's most disadvantaged and vulnerable groups of people today.

Indigenous people in the Philippines are threatened by what they call “development aggression”. Their lands and territories which are rich in natural resources became the target of development programs by the government and private companies.

Projects such as huge dams, mining, logging, plantations, and national parks are carried out without the approval or consultation of the affected communities, resulting in enormous displacement of indigenous groups and the destruction of their livelihood, culture, and identity.

You probably heard about the issue of the protests staged by scientists where they are getting arrested. These scientists are addressing people that there are only 4-5 years left to save the Earth from the consequences caused by human activities.

Because of the excessive use of plastics, oil, and other fossil fuels, the destruction of the Earth accelerates over time. Let us do our part in being responsible human beings and take care of our home. Our actions and efforts, whether they are small or simple, can make a difference.
