ONHS students were taught by PENR Representatives headed by Forest Extension Officers, Mr. Donyell G. Barrameda and Ms. Shiela Mae A. Dela Cruz, the "Tayo ang Kalikasan" action that represents a movement envisioning a collaborative effort of the government, through DENR, and the citizens toward the protection of the country’s natural resources.

"He who plants a tree, plants hope". -Lucy Larcom

To help restore our community's endangered biodiversity and to provide carbon sinks to mitigate the effects of global warming and climate change, the Ocampo National High School - YES-O Club conducted a tree-planting activity at May-Ogob, Ocampo, Camarines Sur with our strong volunteer corps (teachers and students) - the official service arm of YES-O and with the executive officers.

Thank you, Department of Agriculture-Bicol for providing us with fruit-bearing seedlings.

This simple act of planting will surely be of great help to future generations.
