๐โจ Looking Back: Empowering Communities Through Global Partnerships
As we reflect on the success of Project HERday Phase 3: Psychology-Driven Strategies for Soap-Making Livelihood Development, we celebrate a meaningful collaboration that brought together local communities, student organizations, academic experts, and international partners in support of sustainable livelihood development.
The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Internationalization and Linkages Office (Interlink), the Association of Psychology and Human Services Students (AssoPsycHSS), and the International Students Organization (ISO). Through this initiative, the women of Purok Green Village and the Gosi Vlaza Womenโs Association in Agdao, Davao City gained valuable insights on psychology, entrepreneurship, and community development to support their soap-making livelihood.
A highlight of the program was the video lecture of Joanna Tenerowicz-Kudลa, Foreign Language Educator from the University of Gdaลsk, Poland, on olfactory memory and consumer behavior. Complementing this international perspective were sessions by Mr. Ed Francis Rasonabe of the Graduate School of Counseling and Psychology on color psychology and product appeal, and Ms. Robelle Anne Maneja of the School of Business, Management, Education, Arts and Sciences on consumer behavior. Together, these sessions provided practical strategies to enhance product marketability while reflecting San Pedro Collegeโs commitment to leveraging global partnerships for meaningful community impact.
