The Sto. Niño Seminary athletes proudly represented SNS at the District Meet 2026, bringing with them their spirit of discipline, determination, and sportsmanship.

The event officially began with a vibrant parade, followed by the Opening Program at Numancia Integrated School, where participating schools gathered to mark the beginning of this year's competition.

As our Los Niños athletes take on the different events, may they compete with confidence, give their best, and carry the name of Sto. Niño Seminary with pride and honor.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐍𝐒 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐋

On July 29, 2026, the Sto. Niño Seminary Community celebrated the Feast of St. Martha, the patron saint of our dear SNS Personnel, through a Eucharistic Celebration held in their honor.

The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Vincent P. Cajilig, Spiritual Director of the MajorSems Department, who offered a reflection on the example of St. Martha and the value of faithful service. The celebration became an opportunity for the community to pray for and express gratitude to our personnel for their daily work and dedication in caring for the seminary and its community.

During lunchtime, the SNS Community prepared a special program entitled “Feassonel” for our dear personnel, spearheaded by the Apostolate Committee Overall Chairman, Sem. Paul B. Obligado. The program featured messages, tributes, and presentations from the seminarians as they expressed their appreciation for the people who work behind the scenes and contribute to the daily life and formation of the seminary.

It was a simple yet meaningful celebration of gratitude for our SNS Personnel, whose presence and service continue to be an important part of the seminary community.

Happy Feast Day to our dear SNS Personnel! May St. Martha continue to intercede for you in your vocation of service.

AUG 21 | MEMORIAL OF ST. PIUS X

St. Pius X was a pope known for his deep humility, pastoral zeal, and unwavering commitment to renewing the spiritual life of the Church. Born Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto in Italy in 1835, he came from a humble family and devoted his life to the priesthood and service of the faithful. Elected Pope in 1903, he worked to strengthen Catholic doctrine, promote frequent reception of Holy Communion, and encourage the faithful to participate more deeply in the liturgical life of the Church. He also placed great importance on the proper formation of clergy and the teaching of Christian doctrine. His motto, Instaurare Omnia in Christo (“To restore all things in Christ”), expressed his desire to lead the Church and the world closer to Jesus. St. Pius X reminds us that genuine renewal begins with a sincere return to Christ, nourished by the Eucharist, sound faith, and a life of holiness.

IN PHOTO | On August 18, 2026, the Sto. Niño Seminary Community welcomed officials from the Department of Education – Division of Aklan, who visited the seminary and took time to see and explore its different areas.

The SNS Community welcomed Mr. John Marciales, Division Focal Person for Private Schools; Mr. Allan Carlo Soriano, Division LRPD Focal Person; and Mr. Axel Morales, Division DRRM Focal Person. The occasion was made more meaningful by the presence of Mr. Soriano and Mr. Morales, both former seminarians of Sto. Niño Seminary, who now serve in the field of education.

The SNS Community extends its heartfelt gratitude to our guests for spending time with us and for returning to the seminary that once formed them.

AUG 20 | MEMORIAL OF ST. BERNARD OF CLAIRVAUX

St. Bernard of Clairvaux was a Cistercian monk, abbot, preacher, and Doctor of the Church renowned for his profound love for Christ, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and powerful spiritual writings. Born in France in 1090, he entered the Cistercian monastery of Cîteaux and later became abbot of Clairvaux, where his holiness and wisdom attracted many to the monastic life. Through his preaching and counsel, he played an important role in the renewal of the Church and encouraged Christians to return to a life of prayer, humility, and love for God. His writings emphasized the transforming power of divine love and the soul's intimate relationship with Christ. St. Bernard reminds us that true wisdom is found not merely in knowledge, but in allowing God's love to transform the heart and lead us closer to Him.

St. John Eudes was a French priest, missionary, and founder known for his deep devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Born in 1601, he dedicated his life to preaching missions, hearing confessions, and renewing the spiritual lives of the faithful and clergy. He founded the Congregation of Jesus and Mary to provide solid formation for priests and established the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity to care for women in need. Through his preaching and writings, he helped spread devotion to the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, emphasizing God's merciful and compassionate love. St. John Eudes reminds us that authentic renewal begins with a heart transformed by God's love and expressed through prayer, service, and compassion for others.
