LOOK | 👀With the theme “Be a Handwashing Hero,” Salcedo Elementary School-Extension, in partnership with Better With Water Philippines, George Fisher (+GF+), and HappyTap, held a fun and meaningful Global Handwashing Day Program on October 15, 2025.

Highlights included the TikTok Dance Contest, Painting Activity, and a handwashing demo led by HappyTap. Pupils, teachers, and guests also shared their pledges on the Commitment Wall.

A turnover ceremony of handwashing tools donated by HappyTap strengthened the school’s advocacy for proper hygiene. The event concluded with an inspiring message from Dr. Rubelyn G. Navidad, reminding everyone that “Handwashing is a simple act that saves lives.” 🧼🫧🧴

IN PHOTOS: Salcedo Elementary School-Extension, together with Better With Water Philippines, led a vibrant community clean-up drive yesterday. Pupils, teachers, and volunteers teamed up to collect litter, separate waste, and beautify the school surroundings.

Afterward, pupils had fun with Eco-Bingo and a Scavenger Hunt games, turning learning into play while reinforcing environmental lessons.

Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2025

Ngayong Agosto, ipinagdiriwang ng Mababang Paaralan ng Salcedo-Extension ang Buwan ng Wika na may temang "Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa".

Layunin ng selebrasyong ito na higit pang linangin ang pagmamahal sa ating sariling wika, palalimin ang pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino, at isabuhay ang diwa ng pagkakaisa sa pamamagitan ng Filipino.

Ipinamalas ng ating mga mag-aaral ang kanilang galing sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang pagtatanghal, paligsahan, at programa na tunay na sumasalamin sa yaman ng ating kultura.

Maraming salamat sa ating mga g**o, magulang, mag-aaral, at mga panauhing nakiisa upang gawing makulay at matagumpay ang ating selebrasyon!

Mabuhay ang Wikang Filipino, Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! 🇵🇭

Japanese Pupils Immerse in SES-Extension Culture‼️

On August 15, 2025, Salcedo Elementary School-Extension warmly welcomed visitors from Japan for a cultural immersion activity. The event served as a platform for both Filipino and Japanese pupils to share and experience each other’s traditions. SES-Extension pupils showcased lively cultural dances, while the Japanese pupils delighted the crowd with their own performances. The day was a celebration of friendship, cultural exchange, and mutual respect.

TINGNAN | Pagbisita ni Dr. Rosemarie Torres sa Salcedo-Extension

Ngayong araw, buong puso naming tinanggap si Dr. Rosemarie Torres, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent ng Lalawigan ng Cavite, sa Mababang Paaralan ng Salcedo-Extension. Layunin ng kanyang pagbisita ang pagbibigay ng technical assistance at mahalagang gabay upang lalo pang mapaunlad ang kasanayan sa pagbasa ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Kasama rin sa pagbisita si Dr. Ofelia Arvisu, Public Schools District Supervisor ng Noveleta, at si Gng. Gemma Borja, Punungg**o ng General San Miguel Elementary School. Katuwang sa talakayan sina Dr. Rubelyn G. Navidad, Punungg**o ng Salcedo-Extension, at ang mga g**o na aktibong nakibahagi upang higit pang pag-ibayuhin ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa ating paaralan.

Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang patnubay at sama-samang pagkilos, mas lalo nating mapapalakas ang mga programa sa pagbabasa, tinitiyak na walang batang maiiwan sa landas ng pagkatuto.

In line with this year’s theme, “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority, Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”, our learners actively participated in meaningful and fun activities that promote proper nutrition and healthy living.

For five consecutive years, our school has consistently led the way in submitting quality entries for the Gawad Teodora Alonso Manuscript (GTA) and this year, we’ve reached yet another milestone!

TINGNAN | Bilang agarang tugon sa banta ng Bagyong Crising, ipinag-utos ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Cavite ang pagsuspinde ng klase sa lahat ng antas ngayong araw, Hulyo 18, 2025.

Kaugnay nito, agad na nagsagawa ng Online/Modular Distance Learning ang Mababang Paaralan ng Salcedo-Extension upang matiyak na tuloy-tuloy ang pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral kahit sa gitna ng masamang panahon.

Patuloy ang pakikipag-ugnayan ng paaralan sa mga magulang at g**o upang maiparating ang mga aralin at gawain na naaayon sa kanilang kaligtasan at kapakanan.

Salcedo Elementary School-Extension officially kicks off its annual celebration of Nutrition Month‼️
🥦🥒🥗🍅🥬🫜🍓🍒🍌🍎🍊

In line with this year’s theme: "Food and Nutrition Security, Make it a Priority! Sufficient Food, Our Right!", pupils from KS1 to KS2 showcased their creativity and advocacy by joining the Poster Making Contest. Through their colorful and meaningful artworks, the pupils expressed the importance of proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and caring for one’s health and well-being.

With the active support of teachers, Salcedo Elementary School-Extension continues to nurture not only bright minds but also a healthy and responsible individuals.

PS. Winners will be awarded on July 31st 2025.
