Today, May 14, 2026, teachers of Noveleta SHS gathered for an orientation on Learning Systems Reform Policies in preparation for the implementation of the three-term school calendar and other educational reform initiatives for School Year 2026–2027.

The orientation aims to equip educators with the necessary understanding, strategies, and updates to ensure a smooth transition toward the new academic structure and policy reforms. These changes are expected to strengthen learning delivery, improve academic planning, and enhance the overall educational experience for both teachers and students.

NSHS Launches 2026 Summer Remediation Programs for SHS Learners!

Noveleta Senior High School officially kicks off its 2026 Summer Remediation Programs, welcoming incoming Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners for a meaningful and productive summer! ☀️📚

This initiative aims to help students strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and prepare for the upcoming school year through engaging and guided learning activities.

The program features:
📖 ARAL Summer Reading Program for incoming Grade 11
📝 SHS Remediation Program in English and Mathematics for incoming Grade 12

Each program will run for 20 days, focusing on improving essential academic competencies and boosting learner confidence.

With the theme “Learn. Improve. Achieve. Together, we rise.”, NSHS continues its commitment to nurturing capable, confident, and future-ready learners.

The Grade 12 STEM students of Noveleta Senior High School proudly showcased their Science Investigatory Projects (SIP) during this year’s Calle Intelligente, turning the covered court into a vibrant hub of creativity, research, and real-world problem solving.

From eco-friendly papermaking innovations to smart formulas that compute fuel consumption, the event highlighted months of dedication, experimentation, and collaboration. Guided by their adviser and research coordinator, Dr. Bryan Louis G. Lazaro, students presented research displays, defended their ideas, and celebrated the power of scientific inquiry.

Congratulations to all winners and participants who demonstrated that innovation truly thrives in NSHS!

Science Comes to Life at the STEM Biology Exhibit!

Learning stepped beyond the classroom as Grade 11 STEM students of Noveleta Senior High School hosted an Immersive Organismal Biology Exhibit, transforming their classroom into a mini science gallery.

Through creative 3D dioramas, interactive models, and colorful presentations, students explored how plants and animals grow, survive, and function. The exhibit highlighted topics such as the nervous system, circulation, and nutrient transport, making biology more engaging and easier to understand.

Led by their Science teacher Ma’am Charmene Rizza Idea, the activity encouraged collaboration, creativity, and deeper appreciation for the living world.

A true celebration of science in action!
