September 2, 2026 | Pub Team Pays Courtesy Visit

The publication team together with their adviser, Ms. Michelle Cruz, paid a courtesy visit to the College President, Dr. Ma. Liberty DG Pascual, on September 2, 2026.

The courtesy visit served as an opportunity for the team to personally share their victory in the recent 5th Young Journalists Press Freedom Congress where NC secured the 8th Place out of 33 participating colleges and universities in Editorial Cartooning category and express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Pascual and the school administration for the unwavering support to the school publication.

With the support of the administration, faculty, and the entire school community, the publication team looks forward to achieving greater milestones and bringing more recognition to the college.

TIGNAN | BUWAN NG WIKA 2026, IPINAGDIWANG SA DALUBHASAAN NG NORZAGARAY

Matagumpay na idinaos ng Dalubhasaan ng Norzagaray ang inihandang programa sa tema na “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon” na naisakatuparan bilang pagdiriwang sa Buwan ng Wika nitong ika-isa ng Setyembre taong kasalukuyan sa ganap na alas-dyis ng umaga sa Atty. Amador Dela Merced Sports Complex.

Suot ang makukulay na baro't saya ay nakiisa ang bawat mag-aaral bitbit ang pagkakakilanlan sa wikang kanilang pinagmulan. Samantala nagpamalas naman ng husay sa pagkanta sa isang patimpalak ang siyam na mag-aaral mula sa iba't ibang departamento gamit ang mga awiting isinulat sa Filipino sa “Awit ng Lahi”. Matapos ang masusing pagpili ng mga hurado na sina Gng. Adora B. Marcial, Gng. Marsha T. Abel, at Bb. Denise Faye Noriega, inihayag na ang mga nagwagi sa nasabing patimpalak.

Nasungkit ni Pauline Santiago mula sa BEED - 1B ang ikalawang pwesto, habang nakamit naman ni Abigail Alarcon mula sa BSCS - 3A ang unang pwesto at itinalagang kampeon si Lander Leonardo mula sa BSHM - 3B. Bukod pa rito, kinilala rin sina John Mark Samson mula sa BSED - 1A bilang Lakan ng Wikang Pambansa, at Abigail Angeles ng BSHM - 1A bilang Lakambini ng Buwan ng Wika.

Kasabay ng pag-unlad ng teknolohiya sa makabagong panahon ang pagdiriwang na ito ang nagsisilbing pag-alala sa wika, kultura, at paniniwala na nananalaytay sa pagkakakilanlan ng mga susunod pang henerasyon na kailanma'y hindi mawawala.

TIGNAN | Kasalukuyang idinaraos ng Dalubhasaan ng Norzagaray ang selebrasyon para sa Buwan ng Wika taong 2026 na may temang Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon. Ito ay bilang pagdiriwang sa ating kultura, wika, at pagkakakilanlan. Masasalamin sa programa ang mga aktibidad, presentasyon, at mga pagtatanghal bilang pagkilala sa pambansang wika kung saan tayo nagmula.

NATIONAL HEROES DAY 2026

On this day, the Philippines celebrates National Heroes Day, By honoring the legacy of the Filipinos who showed courage, bravery, dedication and made sacrifices for our beloved country. As we continue embracing the values of the Filipinos who fought for freedom, and service.

Today, The Herald, the Official Student Publication of Norzagaray College, joins the nation in commemorating and honoring the heroes who devoted their lives in service of the country. May we remember not only their names, but also the values they stood for and the lessons they left behind, lessons that we can carry with us in the present.

May the courage to stand for what is right, the wisdom to take action, and the compassion to serve the nation continue to live in every Filipino.
