Despite our busy schedules and the preparations for the upcoming 2026 South Cotabato Provincial Athletic Association (SCPAA) Meet, where San Miguel Elementary School will serve as one of the billeting quarters for the Municipality of Polomolok Athletic Delegation, our commitment to quality teaching and learning remains steadfast. ❤️❤️❤️

🔥🚒 Empowering Young Lifesavers Through Fire Safety Education 🚒🔥

On July 29, 2026, San Miguel Elementary School, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Norala Fire Station, successfully conducted the Kiddie Fire Marshal Training for our Grades 4 to 6 learners.

The activity provided our learners with valuable knowledge and practical skills on fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and proper response during fire-related emergencies, helping them become more responsible, safety-conscious, and resilient members of the community.

To ensure that regular classroom instruction remained uninterrupted, the training was conducted after class hours, allowing our learners to actively participate without disrupting their academic classes.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the dedicated personnel of the BFP – Norala Fire Station for sharing their expertise, inspiring our young Fire Marshals, and strengthening our learners' commitment to fire safety and disaster preparedness.

Together, let us continue building a safer, more prepared, and more resilient school community—because fire safety begins with awareness, preparedness, and teamwork. ❤️🚒

SUCCESSFUL 1st PTA GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING CUM ORIENTATION

San Miguel Elementary School successfully conducted its 1st PTA General Assembly Meeting cm Orientation on the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education and DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026 – Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.

The activity served as a valuable platform to strengthen the partnership between the school and the parents, ensuring a shared understanding of the significant educational reforms and policies that directly affect our learners. Through the orientation, parents and guardians were provided with important information regarding the new school calendar, classroom assessment procedures, grading system, and the guidelines for awards and recognition.

The success of this assembly was made possible through the active participation, cooperation, and unwavering support of our parents, teachers, school personnel, and stakeholders. Your commitment to the education and welfare of our learners continues to inspire us to work together in creating a nurturing, inclusive, and learner-centered school environment.

Strengthening Preparedness, Ensuring Safety!

The San Miguel Elementary School conducted a short yet meaningful orientation and awareness activity on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) led by Ma'am Geraldine A. Bretaña to reinforce the importance of preparedness during earthquakes and other calamities.

This initiative aimed to equip learners, teachers, and school personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond appropriately during emergencies, helping prevent panic, minimize risks, and ensure everyone's safety.

The San Miguel Elementary School family warmly welcomed the opening of School Year 2026–2027 on June 8, 2026, through a meaningful flag-raising ceremony led by our dedicated School Principal, Mr. Rio B. Gatera, Principal I.

With great enthusiasm and optimism, he extended his heartfelt welcome to all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, parents/guardians, and stakeholders as we begin another year of learning, growth, and success.
