DepEd Polo Elementary School

A meaningful moment of reflection for our Grade 6 pupils of Polo Elementary School before they take their next big step. Thank you to the catechists and recollection masters from the Parish of the Most Holy Rosary, New Washington, Aklan for guiding our learners in this spiritual recollection last March 14, 2026. This activity reminds our learners of the importance of faith, gratitude and good values as they prepare for a new chapter in their lives. May they carry with them the lessons of prayer, reflection and love for God wherever they go.

Polo Elementary School extends its deepest gratitude to Vice Mayor Jesus 'Molot' Quimpo and Honorable Sangguniang Bayan Member Vicente "Esboy" Quimpo for their generous donation of bags of cement and a truckload of sand and gravel. This invaluable contribution will significantly advance the completion of our school's concrete perimeter fence, greatly enhancing the safety and security of our students and staff. Polo Elementary School Crowns Its 2025 Master and Little Miss Christmas

Polo Elementary School came alive with yuletide cheer on December 17, 2025 as it held the Coronation of Master and Little Miss Christmas 2025, a beloved tradition that celebrates both holiday joy and the talents of its student body.

Leading the ceremony as Coronation Speaker was Honorable Vicente Quimpo, Sangguniang Bayan Member of New Washington, who emphasized the importance of kindness, community, and spreading warmth during the Christmas season. In his address, he encouraged the candidates and all students to embrace the true meaning of the holidays by caring for others and being positive role models in their school and neighborhood.

The event was organized by the school’s Teachers and Employees Association spearheaded by Mrs. Anna Lou Mole Bustamante and in cooperation with the School Parent-Teacher Association led by Mrs. Sheva Andrade. Indeed, the event was successful through the leadership and guidance of Mrs. Mary Jo P. Castro, School Principal I.

Polo Elementary School received recognition from the Schools Division of Aklan for its successful implementation of the Brigada Eskwela Program. The award was presented during the Stakeholders' Appreciation and Recognition of Schools on November 25, 2025, at Marzon Convention Center, Kalibo, Aklan.

Polo Elementary School is proud to announce that one of its dedicated stakeholders, Miss Gilana Equiña, has been recognized by the School's Division of Aklan for her outstanding contributions to the school community. Miss Equiña has consistently supported Polo Elementary School by donating books and facilitating the repair of the school library. Her efforts have had a significant impact on the school, and this recognition is a testament to her commitment and hard work. The entire Polo Elementary School community congratulates Miss Equiña on this well-deserved honor! Likewise, PES greatly appreciates the presence of Mr. Roly O. Equiña for receiving the award on behalf of Miss Gilana Equiña.
