Trials, Triumphs, and Teamwork: The Journey of HUMSS 12 – A. GABION in Entrepreneurship
When the announcement for the Entrepreneurship Product Proposal PETA came on November 21, 2025, the students of HUMSS 12 – A (Gabion) were filled with a strange mix of excitement and apprehension. How could they, a group mostly inexperienced in business, create something innovative and marketable in such a limited time? The task seemed simple on paper, yet in reality, it was a maze of challenges, deadlines, and unknowns that no one could fully anticipate. Ideas flooded their minds—some brilliant, some seemingly impossible—but the question remained: which idea would truly stand out? Which product would survive the scrutiny of peers and teachers?
The brainstorming phase tested their patience and creativity. Schedules clashed, responsibilities piled up, and disagreements threatened to derail progress. Yet, as each group navigated these obstacles, they discovered an unexpected truth: collaboration was more than dividing tasks—it was learning to trust one another even in uncertainty. The process of researching, observing their community, and negotiating ideas became a story of persistence, as groups gradually transformed vague notions into concrete product concepts, from food innovations like SUSHI BITES, Deca-Mackerel, GOGiri, and PastiLicious Taco to functional product like the Mosquito Repellure Candle
Production and preparation only heightened the tension. Ingredients went missing, materials fell short, and time became a relentless adversary. Booth construction felt like a race against the clock, while cooking and testing products demanded precision under pressure. There were moments when failure seemed inevitable, when the chaos of last-minute adjustments and absent members made the success of their projects uncertain. Yet, amid the exhaustion and panic, laughter, encouragement, and small victories carried them forward.
Finally, the day of the presentations arrived. As each group presented, the room buzzed with curiosity, questions, and critical eyes. Some received praise, others constructive criticism, but every group left with a deeper understanding of what it truly means to be an entrepreneur. It was in that moment of reflection that students realized the greatest achievement was not just a successful product—it was the journey itself. They learned that creativity, resilience, teamwork, and adaptability are the real rewards, and that success is built not by one individual, but by the collective courage to face uncertainty together. What began as a daunting school task had transformed into a journey of growth, discovery, and lasting memories, leaving each student with a story worth sharing and lessons that extend far beyond the classroom.
