GOOD DAY EVERYONE!
"Shoot that Bottle" is a YES-O program that aims to focus on water bottle recycling to promote, facilitate, and educate students about the importance of waste segregation through collecting empty water bottles and selling it to recycling centers/ junkshops. The earned money from this activity will be use as fund for future activities of YES-O club.
Recycling plays an important role in waste management by diverting materials from landfills and incinerators. By reprocessing materials like paper, plastic, glass, and metal into new products, recycling significantly reduces the volume of waste, alleviating pressure on limited landfill space and mitigating environmental pollution.
Recycling empty water bottles is an essential part of sustainable waste management practices. It's not only to protect the environment and conserve resources but also fosters responsibility to consumption and waste disposal, which will benefit both present and future generations.
This activity aims to:
Promotes cleanliness and proper disposal of non-biodegradable wastes.
Encourage students and teachers to recycle water bottles through the Shoot that bottle activity.
Enhance students' awareness of the importance of recycling non-biodegradable waste.
