SDO NAVOTAS AND SAN ROQUE ES AT THE TEC CAREER EDUCATION FORUM
San Roque Elementary School (SRES), SDO Navotas proudly brought the story of its school-based ARAL initiatives and the best practices of SDO Navotas to the Teacher Education Council (TEC) Career Education Forum, engaging selected Senior High School students from the Divisions of Manila and Quezon City, as well as participants from Bulacan and Cavite, together with other stakeholders.
This engagement is a meaningful opportunity for SDO Navotas to showcase how the ARAL Program is being translated into purposeful, responsive, and learner-centered action at the school level. San Roque Elementary School is honored to be recognized among the Best Implementing Schools in the ARAL Program, allowing its practices and experiences to be shared beyond the school and the Division.
Adding significance to the engagement was the participation of Mr. Jade L. Juntilla, Teacher III, English Coordinator, and ARAL Focal Person of San Roque Elementary School, as one of the Resource Speakers of the forum, alongside distinguished education personalities such as Coach Lyqa Maravilla and Teacher Sabrina Ongkiko. His session, βEvery Learner Matters: How Teachers Help Learners Catch Up and Move Forward,β featured the SRES experience and emphasized the vital role of teachers in helping learners recover, grow, and move forward.
Another proud moment for SDO Navotas and SRES was having the only ARAL Booth in the Career Education Forum, positioned alongside Microsoft and other prominent organizations and companies. The booth served as a space to introduce the ARAL Program, showcase learning resources and school-based innovations, and share the collaborative work behind the successful implementation of ARAL in San Roque Elementary School.
But behind every presentation, booth, and milestone are people who make the work possible.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to SDO Navotas for choosing San Roque Elementary School to represent and share our ARAL initiatives and Division best practices; to our School Head, Dr. Sonia M. Padernal, for her steadfast leadership and support; to Maβam Carmela Marie Dupan, for warmly accommodating the Senior High School learners at the ARAL Booth; and to Sir Ronaldo de Dios and Sir Leandro Breis, whose efforts in preparing and setting up the booth helped bring the SRES ARAL story to life.
This milestone belongs not to one person, but to the teachers, school leaders, learners, parents, partners, and stakeholders who continue to believe that every learner deserves an opportunity to catch up, move forward, and succeed.
From SDO Navotas to a wider audience, San Roque Elementary School continues to show what happens when purpose meets people, and when every learner truly matters.
SRES: Priming for Success.
