See you later Angatizens!
After months of conversations, planning, follow-ups, and a little bit of kulitan, we’re finally here.
Welcome to LeapUp Navotas. 🚀
Over the next few days, we’ll be working with a new batch of young Navoteños as they build digital skills, confidence, and pathways to future opportunities.
Maraming salamat sa Navotas City Government, Mayor John Rey Tiangco, the Navotas Public Employment Service Office (PESO), and the Navotas City Youth Development Office for believing in this initiative and helping make it possible.
Excited na kaming simulan ito kasama kayo.
Tuloy ang LeapUp. Tuloy ang oportunidad.

Another Milestone for Angat Kabuhayan!
We are finally getting alignment from Institutions. Our foundations are now being solidified and hopefully this give us more opportunity to provide programs to more communities.
Thanks to Our Executive Director, Jean Fajardo for working tirelessly on this achievement. Iba ka! Bakla ka, pero hindi Bakla lang ✨

“𝑃𝑢𝑠𝑜 𝑎𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑒𝑛𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ.”
There was a time I thought passion could carry everything.
If people cared enough, worked hard enough, believed deeply enough—things would naturally fall into place. That puso would be the fuel, and everything else would follow.
But building Angat Kabuhayan has taught me otherwise.
Passion starts movements. But systems sustain them.
And without systems—without structure, rhythm, documentation, clarity, and discipline—what begins with fire slowly burns out, no matter how sincere the intention is.
I’ve had to unlearn urgency.
Unlearn the idea that faster means better.
Unlearn the pressure to scale before we’re stable.
Unlearn the comfort of “we’ll figure it out along the way.”
This time, we’re building differently.
Slower, but more intentional.
Smaller steps, but clearer foundations.
Less noise, but more durability.
Because sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s a responsibility to the people who believe in the work, and to those who will inherit what we build.
And still, despite everything—
I believe in this work.
Not because it is easy.
Not because it always works.
But because it matters enough to build properly.
Puso is still here.
It just can’t stand alone anymore.
Still processing everything that happened over the past weeks.
Last night, the director’s cut of our Rotary Impact Challenge episode was released, and rewatching it reminded me why LeapUp and Angat Kabuhayan matter so much to me.
Minsan nakakalimutan ko rin iyon kapag pagod na pagod na ako sa trabaho, buhay, at responsibilities. Hahaha.
But seeing the stories, the advocacy, and the conversations again reminded me that this work deserves structure, consistency, and people willing to keep showing up for it.
Tuloy ang trabaho.
Mas mabagal siguro this time.
Pero mas sustainable.
Thank you again to the Rotary Club of San Juan Supreme for giving organizations like ours a platform to be heard.
And thank you to everyone still here.

Maraming salamat, Jean. 🫶

Thank you to the Rotary Club of San Juan Supreme and Rotary Impact Challenge for giving space to conversations that matter.
Through the program aired on ANC 24/7, Angat Kabuhayan was able to present LeapUp — our youth employability and digital skills initiative focused on practical pathways to opportunity.
This experience reminded us why the work matters.
Visibility is only meaningful when it leads to action.
In the coming days, we will be opening opportunities for volunteers, partners, and communities who want to help bring LeapUp forward.
The Impact Challenge: Native Chickens, Digital Skills or Financial Literacy: Who gets P100,000? In Episode 4 of The Impact Challenge, three Filipino youth organizations step into the spotlight to take on one of the nation’s most overlooked battles: the ...
Potential alone doesn’t change lives.
Access does.
This Saturday, Angat Kabuhayan presents LeapUp at the Rotary Impact Challenge by the Rotary Club of San Juan Supremee, airing on ANC 24/7.
LeapUp is our youth employability and digital skills initiative built around real pathways, not empty motivation.
This is not just about presenting a program.
It is about bringing the opportunity gap into the conversation.
