Lucsoon National High School has once again demonstrated excellence and consistency in scouting leadership by achieving its third consecutive First Place in Membership Ranking (Category A 1001 above potential scouts) during the 24th Annual Council Meeting of the BSP Biliran Council. This remarkable accomplishment reflects the school’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the Scouting movement through active recruitment, sustained participation, and strong institutional support.

Despite the limited number of council-wide activities this year, where Activities, Trainings, and Advancement Rankings were not included in the criteria for selecting awardees, Lucsoon NHS stood out through its solid and growing membership base. The school’s continued success highlights the dedication of its school administrators, BSP coordinators, and outfit leaders in promoting Scouting values and encouraging student involvement.

This back-to-back-to-back victory is a testament to the school’s effective strategies in engaging learners in meaningful youth development programs, fostering leadership, discipline, and service. It also underscores the resilience and commitment of Lucsoon NHS in upholding the spirit of Scouting, even amid fewer opportunities for external activities.

As Lucsoon NHS celebrates this milestone, it remains steadfast in its mission to nurture responsible, service-oriented, and values-driven young individuals, further solidifying its reputation as a leading force in the BSP Biliran Council.

Journey of the Researchers of the ISIP Project in the Regional Science, Technology, and Mathematics Fair

The journey of the researchers of the ISIP Project in the Regional Science, Technology, and Mathematics Fair was a meaningful experience marked by perseverance, collaboration, and scientific curiosity. From the early stages of conceptualizing the research problem, the student-researchers demonstrated dedication in identifying a relevant issue that could contribute to the advancement of science and technology in their community. Guided by their mentors, they carefully designed their methodology, gathered data, and analyzed their findings with accuracy and integrity. The preparation process required countless hours of brainstorming, experimentation, revising research papers, and refining their presentation skills to ensure that their project met the standards of the competition.

As they progressed to the Regional Science, Technology, and Mathematics Fair, the researchers showcased not only their innovative ideas but also the hard work and commitment behind their study. Presenting their ISIP Project before judges and fellow young scientists allowed them to confidently explain their research objectives, procedures, results, and implications. The experience broadened their understanding of scientific inquiry and exposed them to diverse research projects from different schools. More importantly, the journey strengthened their teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills. Regardless of the final results, their participation in the regional fair became a milestone that inspired them to continue pursuing excellence in research and to contribute meaningful solutions to real-world problems through science and innovation.
