It's a wrap.

At least 100 learner government leaders from the different secondary schools of SDO Biliran convened virtually for this first ever Youth Voters' Education Forum dubbed as Kabataan, Kumilos Ka (K*K)! Boto Ko, Bukas ko! held on October 16, 2023 with guests from the Provincial Commission on Elections Office, Ms. Salud Vida and Ms. Josiefil T. Egarta.

This forum hopes to empower the youth particularly the school leaders on how to effectively exercise their right to suffrage; to campaign against vote- buying and vote- selling in support to Kontra Bigay program of the Commission on Elections; and
increase youth participation for the promotion of a fair, transparent and genuine local polls this October 30, 2023.

Said activity was also graced by SDS Lani H. Cervantes, CESO VI and SGOD Chief, Dr. Lucille Curso- Roa.

JUST IN. Duechess Brianah Mangco, Division Federated President of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) from Naval Central School SPED Center has been duly elected as the Regional Secretary of the Regional Federated SELG for the School Year 2023- 2024.

Meanwhile, Thea Margarite Navarro, Division Federated President of the SSLG from Naval National High School has been appointed as one of the Board Members of the RFSSLG.

The Regional Federation Elections transpired at DepEd- RELC NEAP- 8, Government Center, Candahug, Palo, Leyte today, July 3, 2023.

SDO Biliran presents new set of Division Federated Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers for School Year 2023- 2024.

New set of Federated SSLG Officers were just elected today, June 20, 2023. Said activity was actively participated in by at least 24 Secondary Schools including one (1) private school namely Cathedral School of La Naval, Inc.

Elect DFSSLG President Thea Margarite Navarro of Naval National High School will represent the division to the upcoming Regional Federated SSLG Elections on July 3, 2023.

Tomorrow, June 20, 2023 marks the Conduct of the Division Federated Elections for Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) for S.Y. 2023- 2024.

SELG Division Federated Elections will be held in the morning from 8:00 to 12:00 noon, with expected 28 participants (14 SELG District SELG Presidents with their respective advisers), while SSLG Division Federated Elections will be in the afternoon at 1:00- 5:00 pm at the same venue which will be participated in by all SSLG Presidents.

Newly elected presidents for S.Y. 2023-2024 shall be representing the division to the Regional Federated Elections tentatively scheduled on July 3, 2023.

For further reference, kindly revisit Division Memorandum No. 214, s. 2023 titled Conduct of SDO Biliran Division Federated Supreme Learner Government Elections S.Y 2023- 2024. #
