Today marks the successful kick-off of PROJECT HINGA (Holistic Initiative for Nurturing Growth and Alleviating Stress) at Naujan Municipal High School!

In line with DepEd's policy on the non-disruption of classes, the NMHS family gathered right after school hours to pause, recharge, and prioritize mental health and wellness.

Teachers, non-teaching staff, administrators, and school personnel all came together for an afternoon filled with meaningful reflection, deep connection, and active participation.

Taking care of the entire school community is just as important as teaching itself. Here’s to building a healthier, more supportive space for everyone—because with wellness today, we build a stronger tomorrow! 💪✨

The BIGGEST flex this year? Science has officially entered the chat! 🧪🔬 Along with Math, our students are taking digital learning to a whole new level!

​Being 1 of only 54 Pathfinder Implementing Schools in the entire country? Main character energy for real! 💯 Big shoutout to Khan Academy Philippines x ADB for supporting our digital journey and clutching our 4th SAMSUNG GALAXY A9 PLUS tablet given by Khan for our school!📱⚡️

Our campus safety, security coordination, and classroom comfort just received a massive upgrade thanks to the kindness of the following individuals and businesses:

Sir Joey Joseph Llamoso – For providing Super Scanner Handheld Metal Detectors, complete with rechargeable batteries and charging units to help secure our campus gates. 🛡️

Captain Jeorge and the Gasic Siblings – For further strengthening our security measures with additional Super Scanner Handheld Metal Detectors, as well as donating a brand new Centrix 16" Stand Fan to keep our environment comfortable! 🌬️

Alzate Twins General Merchandise & Supplies OPC – For significantly upgrading our school’s communication network with a donation of Baofeng BF-888S Portable Two-Way Radios (Walkie-Talkies)! These will be vital for instant coordination during school events, daily operations, and emergency response. 📻⚡

These tools will go a long way in ensuring a secure, orderly, well-coordinated, and comfortable environment for our students, teachers, and staff every single day. To clarify, Naujan Municipal High School has long been implementing mandatory inspection protocols at our gates and within classrooms. It is inaccurate to state that these safety measures were only introduced after the recent incident. What the public is witnessing now is a heightened reinforcement and greater emphasis on these existing protocols, which is standard procedure nationwide following the tragic school shooting in Tacloban. The security personnel are carrying out their duties according to established guidelines; this increased visibility is a proactive measure to reassure both students and parents, not a delayed reaction.
