The 3rd LAC Session at Malinao Elementary School continued the discussion of DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026, focusing on the classroom assessment and grading system. The session was facilitated by Madam Mylene A. Gandia, Teacher III, who discussed the importance of understanding and properly implementing the new grading system. She emphasized that grading should accurately reflect the learners’ progress, performance, and achievement of learning competencies.

The discussion also highlighted how teachers should compute and use learners’ grades throughout the term and school year. Madam Mylene explained that assessment results should provide meaningful information about learners’ strengths, areas for improvement, and overall development. Through a fair and supportive grading system, teachers can help learners recognize their progress and encourage them to continue improving.

Recognition should acknowledge learners’ achievements, growth, effort, and positive contributions in a meaningful and equitable manner. The session reminded teachers that assessment and recognition should motivate learners to become lifelong learners and inspire them to continuously strive for excellence.

🩺💚 DEWORMING ACTIVITY AT MALINAO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 💚🩺

August 12, 2026 — Malinao Elementary School successfully conducted its Deworming Activity, headed by our District Nurse, Nurse Teresita P. Evangelista, as part of the school’s commitment to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our learners.

The activity aims to prevent and control intestinal worm infections among school children, which may affect their nutritional status, growth, energy, and ability to learn. Through regular deworming, proper hygiene, sanitation, and health education, we can help our learners stay healthy and active in school.

👩‍⚕️ Nurse Teresita also emphasized the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene and healthy habits, such as:

✅ Washing hands thoroughly with soap and clean water
✅ Keeping fingernails short and clean
✅ Wearing slippers or shoes when going outdoors
✅ Eating clean and properly prepared food
✅ Drinking safe and clean water
✅ Using sanitary toilets and practicing proper sanitation
✅ Keeping the school and home environment clean

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Nurse Teresita, the school administration, teachers, parents, and learners for their cooperation and support in making this health activity successful.

PARENTS’ ORIENTATION ON SCHOOL-BASED FEEDING PROGRAM (SBFP) for the SY 2026–2027

Malinao Elementary School successfully conducted the **Parents’ Orientation on the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) for SY 2026–2027 on August 12, 2026 at Malinao Elementary School.

The orientation was led by the SBFP Coordinator, Clarence Joy Abena, Administrative Officer II. Nurse Teresita P. Evangelista, District Nurse was also present in the said activity to assist the parents on their inquiries regarding the program.

The activity provided parents with important information regarding the objectives of the SBFP, identification of beneficiaries, cycle menu, feeding implementation, and other matters related to the program.

Through this orientation, parents were guided on their important role in supporting the successful implementation of the SBFP and promoting the health, nutrition, and well-being of our learners.

The session focused on DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2026 – Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, providing teachers with a clearer understanding of the updated assessment policies and practices.

The discussion strengthened teachers' knowledge and reinforced their commitment to implementing fair, effective, and learner-centered classroom assessment.

Minamahal naming Ka-Guro,Madam Leigh P. Evangelista-Marquez 🩷🥲

May mga taong dumaraan sa ating buhay na nag-iiwan ng bakas na hindi kayang burahin ng panahon. Isa ka sa mga taong iyon. Hindi man naging madali ang bawat araw sa ating propesyon, naging magaan ang lahat dahil mayroon kaming katulad mo—isang kasamang mapagkakatiwalaan, mapagmalasakit, at laging handang tumulong.

Ngayon, habang ikaw ay lilipat sa isang paaralang mas malapit sa iyong tahanan, sabay ang aming saya at lungkot. Masaya kami dahil alam naming ito ay makabubuti para sa iyo at sa iyong pamilya. Ngunit nalulungkot kami dahil mawawala sa aming piling ang isang napakabuting kaibigan at huwarang g**o.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng iyong naibahagi—sa iyong sipag, kabutihan, mga payo, mga tawanan, at maging sa mga hamon na sabay nating nalampasan. Ang iyong kababaang-loob at dedikasyon sa pagtuturo ay magiging inspirasyon sa amin sa mga darating pang taon.

Hindi man tayo magkakasama sa iisang paaralan, mananatili kang bahagi ng aming mga alaala at ng aming mga puso. Nawa'y maging masaya, payapa, at matagumpay ang iyong panibagong paglalakbay. Dalangin namin na lalo pang pagpalain ng Diyos ang iyong buhay, ang iyong pamilya, at ang iyong bokasyon bilang g**o.

Hindi ito pamamaalam, kundi isang "hanggang sa muli." Tandaan mo, palagi kang may mga kaibigang naghihintay at nagmamahal sa iyo rito sa paaralan Ng Malinao ES.

Maraming salamat, Ka-Guro. Mag-iingat ka palagi, at nawa'y patuloy kang maging ilaw sa buhay ng marami pang mag-aaral.

Bilang bahagi ng temang “Nutrisyon ang Susi, sa Buhay na Malusog at Laging may Ngiti,” matagumpay na naisagawa ang dental check-up, tamang paglilinis ng ngipin, at paglalagay ng fluoride sa mga mag-aaral kahapon, July 6, 2026. Sa pangunguna nina Dra. Mercy M. Visto, Dra. Rosemarie Aclan, Dra. Vivien Louelle Fabellon, at Dr. Jubert Laudencia, nabigyan ng serbisyong pangkalusugan ang mga mag-aaral upang mapanatiling malinis at malusog ang kanilang mga ngipin.

Dumalo rin ang District Nurse na si Nurse Teresita P. Evangelista na nagbahagi ng mahahalagang kaalaman tungkol sa personal hygiene at tamang paghuhugas ng kamay** upang maiwasan ang sakit at mapanatili ang mabuting kalusugan. Ang gawaing ito ay nagpaalala sa lahat na ang wastong nutrisyon at personal na kalinisan ay mahalagang susi sa malusog na pangangatawan at masayang ngiti.
