📜 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝟭𝟯, 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟲 — The historic Mount Data Peace Accord was signed in Bauko, Mountain Province, marking a significant step toward peace and self-determination in the Cordillera.

⚖️ 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟳 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 — The Constitution recognized the right of the Cordillera to pursue regional autonomy under Article X, Sections 15–21, laying the constitutional foundation for the establishment of an autonomous region in the Cordilleras.

🏛️ 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝟭𝟱, 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟳 — Through Executive Order No. 220, the Cordillera Administrative Region was established, uniting Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga-Apayao, Mountain Province, and the Chartered City of Baguio into one administrative region while preparing for the envisioned autonomous government.

Today, Cordillera Day is more than a commemoration of an executive order—it is a celebration of the Cordillera people's rich cultures, indigenous heritage, resilience, unity, and enduring aspiration for meaningful autonomy.

As one people with many cultures and languages, may we continue to honor our past, preserve our traditions, and work together toward a stronger and more empowered Cordillera.

𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 🇵🇭

Natonin Stand Alone Senior High School (NSASHS), through its SSLG officers and teachers, proudly joined the Municipality of Natonin in commemorating the 128th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence on June 12, 2026.

The celebration commenced with an Independence Day Parade participated in by various sectors of the community, including government agencies, uniformed personnel, barangay officials, schools, and local organizations. Through this activity, participants paid tribute to the courage, sacrifices, and patriotism of the Filipino heroes who fought for the nation's freedom.

Following the parade, a commemorative program was conducted featuring an invocation, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Natonin Hymn, welcome remarks, an overview of Philippine Independence, inspirational messages from local leaders, the presentation of the patriotic song Pilipinas Kong Mahal, and closing remarks.

One of the highlights of the program was the message delivered by Vice Mayor Raymundo Lapasen:

"Mabuhay ang mga bayani ng nakaraan. Mabuhay ang mga kabataan na pag-asa ng bayan. Mabuhay ang kalayaan ng Pilipinas. Mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino."

As we celebrate this historic occasion, may we continue to honor the legacy of our heroes by promoting unity, patriotism, and responsible citizenship in our community and nation.

Ngayong ika-128 anibersaryo ng Araw ng Kalayaan, ating ginugunita ang katapangan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng mga Pilipinong lumaban upang makamit ang kalayaang ating tinatamasa ngayon.

Noong Hunyo 12, 1898, idineklara ni 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 ang kalayaan ng Pilipinas sa Kawit, Cavite matapos ang mahigit tatlong siglo ng pananakop. Sa araw ding ito unang iwinagayway ang watawat ng Pilipinas bilang sagisag ng ating kasarinlan at pagkakaisa bilang isang bansa.

Mula kay 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹, na gumising sa damdaming makabayan sa pamamagitan ng kanyang mga akda, kay 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼, na nanguna sa pakikibaka para sa kalayaan, at kay 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼, na nagpahayag ng ating kasarinlan, kasama ang hindi mabilang na mga bayaning kilala at hindi kilala na nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa bayan—patuloy nating pinararangalan ang kanilang pamana at sakripisyo.
