Silang, and SGC Chairperson Mrs. Rhodora H. Ubaldo for their generous donation of sports equipment for our young school athletes.

Cogonan Elementary School, headed by Dr. Jeremias S. Beltran, continues to uphold its commitment to quality education despite the challenges brought by the current situation. On the fourth day of Modular Distance Learning, teachers diligently provided meaningful learning activities and conducted follow-ups to monitor learners’ progress.

At home, parents played a vital role as learning partners, guiding and supporting their children as they studied their lessons and accomplished the assigned activities. This strong partnership among school, teachers, parents, and learners proves that when we work together, learning never stops.

Following the effects of the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), our dedicated PTA officers, parents, 4Ps beneficiaries, and other stakeholders joined hands to clean, restore, and ensure a safe, healthy, and welcoming school environment for every learner.

On August 19, 2026, Cogonan Elementary School, under the steadfast leadership of Dr. Jeremias S. Beltran, implemented its HINAY Learning Continuity Status through Modular Distance Learning, due to the continuous inclement weather brought by the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Despite the challenges posed by the weather, education continued beyond the classroom as dedicated teachers prepared and distributed meaningful learning activities for the learners, ensuring that learning remained accessible and uninterrupted.

Moreover, parents played a vital role by patiently guiding and supporting their children at home as they accomplished their assigned learning tasks. This collective effort reflects the unwavering commitment of the school, teachers, parents, and learners in sustaining quality education—proving that even amidst adversity, the spirit of learning continues to thrive.

Despite the intensified Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), Cogonan Elementary School remains steadfast in its commitment to keeping learning on track. On August 18, 2026, the school activated its Learning Continuity Status: “HINAY”, implementing Modular Distance Learning to ensure the safety and continued education of our learners.

📚 Learners were encouraged to study safely at home, with the guidance and support of their parents, while accomplishing the learning activities and modules provided by their teachers.

Despite the inclement weather brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), Dr. Jeremias S. Beltran, School Head, demonstrated steadfast leadership by conducting the monitoring of Modular Distance Learning (MDL) on August 17, 2026.

In response to the recommendation of the Nasugbu Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), classes in all levels—public and private—were suspended on Monday, August 17, 2026, due to the intensified Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Under the steadfast leadership of School Head Dr. Jeremias S. Beltran, Cogonan Elementary School promptly activated appropriate safety protocols and placed its Learning Continuity Status at “HINAY.” This precautionary measure prioritizes the safety and well-being of our learners and personnel while ensuring that the school remains prepared to resume educational activities as soon as conditions become safe and favorable.
