Balikat sa balikat. Puso sa Puso. Nakikiisa ang mga lider-estudyante ng pamantasan sa hinaing laban sa Pax Silica.

Sa pangunguna ng 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗦𝗦𝗖) ng 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗙-𝗡𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗯𝘂, kabalikat ang mga konseho ng bawat departamento at mga kinikilalang student-organization ng ating unibersidad, itinatanghal natin ang kolektibong pagkondena ng sangkaestudyantehang ARASOFian sa isang pag-unlad na hindi makatao, makabansa, at makakalikasan.

Ang pagtaliwas na ito ay hindi pag-alsa laban sa pag-asenso ngunit isang malawakang panawagan sa masinsing pagkonsidera at pagsasaalang-alang sa maaaring maging epekto ng naturang proyekto sa ating kalikasan. Ang bawat pambansang proyektong tulad nito ay nararapat na tumalima sa mas mahigpit na pamantayan at mas masusing pagtitimbang sa magiging epekto sa mga pamayanan, kalikasan, at sa buong sambayanang Pilipino. Hindi masama ang pag-unlad sapagkat malayo-layo na rin ang ating narating, ngunit hindi nito dapat naiiwan ang ating mga mamamayan, lalong higit ang ating kapaligiran.

Bilang mga kinatawan ng bawat mag-aaral, naniniwala ang mga organisasyong ito na ang mga iskolar ng bayan ay nararapat makibahagi sa mapayapang diskursong naglalayong linangin ang ating agham at teknolohiya habang pinangangalagaan din ang ating likas na yaman.
