♻️🌱 SELG Joins the Campaign for Solid Waste Management! 🌱♻️

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Kaylaway Elementary School proudly participated in the Campaign for Solid Waste Management, promoting environmental awareness and responsible waste disposal practices among learners.

With the guidance of our Solid Waste Management School Coordinator, Ma'am Eulalia M. Mendoza, and through the leadership of SELG President Yashi Scarlet G. De Chavez, our young leaders showed their commitment on protecting the environment through meaningful and informative posters.

This activity encouraged learners to become responsible stewards of nature by advocating the principles of waste reduction, proper segregation, reuse, and recycling. Together, we continue to build a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable school community.

🙏✨ Walking in Faith, Leading with Purpose ✨🙏

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Kaylaway Elementary School actively participated in the celebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit, a meaningful gathering that marked the beginning of the school year with prayer, thanksgiving, and spiritual reflection.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Donald V. Dimaandal, who shared inspiring messages on faith, service, and the importance of placing God at the center of our lives and endeavors.

Representing the learner leaders of the school were Yashi Scarlet G. De Chavez, SELG President; Jave Ethan Calix Magsino, SELG Vice President; and Rhian Mikyle Ramirez, SELG Secretary. Their presence reflected the SELG's commitment to leading with integrity, faith, and service.

As learner leaders, the SELG officers joined the school community in seeking God's guidance and blessings for a productive, meaningful, and successful school year. The celebration served as a reminder that true leadership is rooted not only in knowledge and skills but also in faith, humility, compassion, and a heart dedicated to serving others.

🚸🛡️ Safety First, Always! 🛡️🚸

In compliance with the latest Department of Education (DepEd) Memorandum on ensuring the safety and security of learners, the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Officers of Kaylaway Elementary School actively participated in assisting the school in monitoring the entrance gate through the use of a metal detector.

Under the guidance of school personnel, the SELG officers helped promote a safe, secure, and learner-friendly environment by supporting the implementation of school safety measures. This initiative aims to ensure that all learners, teachers, and visitors enter the school premises safely and responsibly.

The activity also provided SELG officers with an opportunity to demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and commitment to the welfare of their fellow learners. Through their active involvement, they continue to embody the values of service, discipline, and cooperation while helping maintain a secure school community.

As learner leaders, the SELG remains committed to supporting programs and initiatives that prioritize the safety, protection, and well-being of every learner.

Buong pusong nakiisa ang Kaylaway Elementary School sa pambansang pagdaraos ng Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony bilang paggunita sa Ika-10 Anibersaryo ng 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award.

Layunin ng gawaing ito na palalimin ang kamalayan ng mga mag-aaral sa kahalagahan ng kasarinlan, soberanya, tuntunin ng batas, at ang ating mga karapatan at pananagutan bilang mamamayang Pilipino. Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagtataas ng watawat at pag-awit ng Lupang Hinirang, ipinamalas ng bawat isa ang pagmamahal sa bayan at pagkakaisa para sa kapayapaan at kaunlaran ng ating bansa.

Ang aktibidad na ito ay nilahukan ng mga SELG Officers at YES-O Officers sa pangunguna ni Yashi Scarlet D. De Chavez, SELG President, kasama si Dr. Ronald S. Pille, Araling Panlipunan School Coordinator at Master Teacher II, na nanguna sa pagsulong ng kamalayang makabayan at pagpapahalaga sa ating pambansang pagkakakilanlan.

🍎❤️ PROJECT NUTRI-LEAD: Nurturing Learners through Nutrition and Leadership ❤️🍎

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Kaylaway Elementary School successfully conducted PROJECT NUTRI-LEAD, a feeding program dedicated to promoting the health, nutrition, and well-being of our learners.

Through the exemplary leadership of Yashi Scarlet G. De Chavez, SELG President, this meaningful initiative was made possible with the generous support and sponsorship of RGBWI Greece Legion Chapter. Their kindness and commitment to helping young learners have greatly contributed to the success of this activity.

The feeding program served not only as a source of nourishment but also as a reminder that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in a supportive and caring environment. Through this collaborative effort, learners received nutritious meals that help improve their health, enhance their readiness to learn, and inspire them to achieve their full potential.

🖨️✨ SELG Invests in Better Service and Productivity! ✨🖨️

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Kaylaway Elementary School batch 2026-2027 proudly donated a printer for the SELG Room as part of its commitment to improving the efficiency and quality of its services and operations.

The printer was purchased using the remaining funds from SELG activities and projects, demonstrating the organization's responsible and transparent management of its resources. This valuable equipment will be used in the preparation, printing, and documentation of various SELG reports, letters, memoranda, project proposals, accomplishment reports, and other official documents.

Through the visionary leadership of SELG President Yashi Scarlet G. De Chavez, this initiative reflects the dedication of SELG officers to ensuring that available resources are utilized wisely for projects that will strengthen the organization and support its future activities. 💧🌱 SELG Turns Fundraising Success into a Lasting Contribution! 🌱💧

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Kaylaway Elementary School proudly turned over a water tank donation in support of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP), reaffirming its commitment to environmental stewardship, sustainable gardening, and school development.

This meaningful project was made possible through the collective efforts of our learners and SELG officers batch 2025-2026 ang SELG Officers batch 2026-2027 during the fundraising booths conducted. Through active participation, teamwork, and dedication, the funds generated from the fundraising activities were transformed into a project that will directly benefit our school community for years to come.

The donated water tank will serve as a reliable water source for the school garden, helping ensure the continuous growth and maintenance of vegetables, herbs, and other plants cultivated under the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program. More than providing water, this project supports food security, environmental awareness, and hands-on learning opportunities for our learners.

This initiative reflects the true essence of student leadership—identifying school needs, taking action, and creating sustainable solutions that benefit everyone. It also demonstrates that even small efforts, when united by a common purpose, can create a meaningful impact on the school and the community.

📌 Late Upload | Brigada Eskwela 2026 Preparation

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Kaylaway Elementary School actively participated in the initial preparations for Brigada Eskwela 2026 by assisting in the inspection and assessment of school facilities.

Together with our SDRRM School Coordinator, Mrs. Sharmaine A. Paciona, the SELG officers helped identify areas needing attention, including electrical wirings, damaged windows, broken ceilings, and waste management concerns within the school premises. This activity aimed to ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for all learners as we prepare for the opening of classes.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Principal I Mrs. Dolor R. De Viila and Master Teacher II Doc. Ronald S. PIlle for their guidance, support, and commitment to maintaining a safe and learner-friendly school environment.
