π½πππππ π΄πππ, honoring the glorious mystery that, at the end of her earthly life, Mary was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.
The Assumption has been cherished in the faith and liturgical tradition of the Church since the early centuries of Christianity. On November 1, 1950, Pope Pius XII solemnly defined the Assumption as a dogma of faith in Munificentissimus Deus: that the Immaculate Mother of God, having completed the course of her earthly life, was taken up body and soul into the glory of Heaven.
Mary's Assumption is a sign of hope for all Christians. In her, we see the promise of Christ's victory over sin and death and a beautiful reminder of the destiny God prepares for those who remain faithful to Him.
As we celebrate this great Marian solemnity, may Mary, our Mother and Queen of Heaven, lead us ever closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Today, the Church celebrates the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, commemorating the moment when Jesus revealed His divine glory to His Apostles Peter, James, and John on Mount Tabor. As His face shone like the sun and His garments became dazzling white, Moses and Elijah appeared beside Him, representing the Law and the Prophets. From the cloud, the Father's voice proclaimed, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him." (Matthew 17:5)
The Transfiguration strengthened the Apostles' faith in preparation for Christ's Passion and reminds us that beyond the Cross lies the glory of the Resurrection. It invites every Christian to listen to Christ, be transformed by His grace, and reflect His light in the world.
π Prayer for the Feast of the Transfiguration
Lord Jesus Christ, on Mount Tabor You revealed the splendor of Your divine glory to Your disciples. Transform our hearts by Your grace, strengthen our faith in times of trial, and help us to listen always to Your voice.
May the light of Your presence guide our thoughts, words, and actions, so that we may become faithful witnesses of Your love. Grant us the courage to carry our crosses with hope, knowing that You lead us to the glory of eternal life.
May we be renewed each day in holiness and reflect Your light to everyone we meet.
Lord Jesus, transfigure our hearts and lead us to everlasting life. Amen.

Today, the Church celebrates the feast of Saint James the Apostle, also known as Saint James the Greater, one of the Twelve Apostles chosen by Jesus Christ. The brother of Saint John the Evangelist and the son of Zebedee, James was among the three apostles privileged to witness significant moments in Christ's ministry, including the Transfiguration and His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Known for his zeal and unwavering faith, Saint James became the first of the Apostles to be martyred, giving his life for the Gospel around A.D. 44. He is the patron saint of pilgrims, and his shrine in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, has inspired countless faithful to embark on journeys of prayer, conversion, and renewal.
May the courageous witness of Saint James inspire us to follow Christ wholeheartedly, persevere in faith, and boldly proclaim the Gospel in our daily lives.
π Prayer to Saint James the Apostle
O glorious Saint James the Apostle, faithful disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ, you left everything behind to follow the Savior and remained steadfast in proclaiming His Gospel, even unto death.
Obtain for us the grace to grow in faith, courage, and perseverance. Help us to carry our crosses with hope, to serve others with generous hearts, and to remain faithful to Christ in every circumstance.
Guide all pilgrims on their journey, protect those who seek God's will, and lead us ever closer to our Heavenly Father.
Saint James the Apostle, pray for us. Amen.

Today, the Church joyfully celebrates the feast of Saint Mary Magdalene, one of the most devoted followers of Jesus Christ. After being freed by Christ from the power of evil, she dedicated her life to following and serving Him with unwavering faith and love. She stood faithfully at the foot of the Cross during His Passion, witnessed His burial, and became the first person to encounter the Risen Christ, earning the title "Apostle to the Apostles" because she was sent to proclaim the joyful news of His Resurrection.
Saint Mary Magdalene reminds us that no one is beyond God's mercy. Her life is a powerful witness to repentance, steadfast discipleship, and the transforming power of Christ's love.
π Prayer to Saint Mary Magdalene
O glorious Saint Mary Magdalene, faithful disciple of Jesus and joyful witness of His Resurrection, obtain for us the grace to love Christ above all things and to follow Him with unwavering faith.
Teach us to repent sincerely of our sins, to remain faithful even in times of suffering, and to proclaim the Good News through our words and actions. May your example inspire us to seek the Lord each day with hopeful hearts and steadfast devotion.
Pray for our families, our communities, and all who seek God's mercy and peace.
Saint Mary Magdalene, pray for us. Amen. βοΈβ€οΈ
