𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Northwestern Agusan Colleges (NAC) proudly celebrates a second-place finish in the ASEAN Quiz Bowl held as part of the ASEAN Month Caraga Regional Kick-off: Propelling HEIs and CHED TDP/TES Grantees Toward Regional Integration, hosted by CHED Caraga on August 13, 2026, at Robinsons Butuan, Butuan City.

With 13 colleges and universities participating, the NAC Quiz Bowl team showed strong teamwork and focus throughout the competition. 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗣. 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 and 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗜 𝗦. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮, both BSED 3 students, and 𝗞𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗕. 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘀, a BSBA 2 student, represented NAC under the guidance of 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿. The team earned a consolidated score of 18/20 in the Easy and Average Rounds, advancing to the Final Round. In the finals, the NAC Quiz Bowl participants finished with 36 points, securing second place after a tie-breaker.

The achievement reflects the team’s preparation and determination as they proudly represented NAC on the regional stage!

Northwestern Agusan Colleges proudly celebrates the participation of the Peer Facilitators Organization delegates, President Jan Paul Cinchez and Vice President Faith Mica Ramos, together with their Peer Adviser, Ms. Kimberly L. Mercado, in the PeerKada Vibe: Building Healthy Connections, Nurturing Inclusive and Supportive Spaces, held on August 5–6, 2026, at Hotel Oazis, Butuan City.

Organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Caraga in partnership with the UNILAB Foundation and HeadsUpPH, the two-day training empowered peer facilitators from Region X and Caraga with the knowledge, skills, and values to strengthen peer support, promote mental well-being, build healthy relationships, and foster safe spaces in the school community.

Now carrying fresh perspectives, our peers are ready to transform their learnings into meaningful initiatives that will further strengthen the NAC Peer Facilitators Organization and create a lasting, positive impact on the Northwestern Agusan Colleges community.
