Quick Service Portal 24/11/2025

ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to introduce the SMCC Research Quick Service Portal, a unified digital platform that consolidates essential research services such as the Grammarly Check, Research Management System, SHERJ-Journal, and the Calendar of Research Activities into one seamless site.

A key feature of this portal is the enhanced Thesis Routing System, designed to modernize and streamline the student research workflow.
No more printing of papers for routing. With this system, students can now submit revisions, receive panel comments, and monitor progress fully online. Instead of spending resources on multiple printed drafts, students can now invest their time where it matters mostβ€”making meaningful, high-quality edits to improve their research manuscripts.

In addition, two major research innovations will be launched soon to further elevate our academic environment:

1. Research Database Integration
A forthcoming access point to a global repository of peer-reviewed journals, dissertations, conference papers, and scholarly literature that will strengthen literature reviews and support evidence-based academic writing.

2. Research Lectures Module: How to Write Research Effectively
An upcoming structured module featuring research lectures and guided materials focused on research conceptualization, methodology writing, data analysis, and the preparation of publication-ready manuscripts aligned with international standards.

The SMCC Research Quick Service Portal represents our commitment to empowering Michaelians to produce research that goes beyond complianceβ€”research that is rigorous, innovative, and globally relevant.

All services made possible by our partner SMCC College of Computing and Information Sciences
