Imelda National High School is grateful for the visit of two of its alumni, the Cañero siblings, Ms. Jikko Cañero Jikko Barbie Carrido Cañero (Batch 2014) and Mr. Nikki Cañero (Batch 2005), who are currently based in Toronto, Canada, and came home as Balikbayan.

The siblings dropped by the school yesterday to reconnect with their alma mater and personally extend their donation for the benefit of the school. The financial assistance they shared will be added to the fund for the completion of the school pathway, which is one of the priority projects for School Year 2025–2026.

The said project is a joint initiative of the Faculty and Personnel Club (FPC), School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), and the School Governance Council (SGC) which aimed to improve the school facilities and providing a safer and more convenient walkway for learners, teachers, and visitors.

The Imelda NHS family sincerely thanks Ms. Jikko and Mr. Nikki Cañero for their generosity and for remembering their roots despite being far from home. Your kindness serves as an inspiration to our students and fellow alumni to continue supporting the growth and development of our beloved school.

May your good deeds be returned to you a hundredfold.

Edna Sanidad, where they expressed their gratitude and shared their accomplishments in representation of the institution. The Faculty and Personnel Club (FPC) of Imelda National High School headed by the Officer-In-Charge of the Office of the School Principal I, Ma’am Jerie-Lyn Conchita C. Masangkay, visited today, March 19, 2026, the residence of SBM Denille Lou “Den” V. Valera to personally deliver the award-winning Spanish Sardines that garnered 3rd Place in the Food Processing – Flavor Flame during the Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT).

The visit was a simple gesture of gratitude and appreciation for the continued support of SBM Den Valera to the projects, programs and activities of the school. Such moments reflect the strong partnership between the local government and Imelda National High School in promoting teamwork, and excellence among learners and teachers.

Imelda NHS remains grateful for the unwavering support of our stakeholders in achieving milestones that bring pride to our school and community.
