JOHN ELRICK DE GUZMAN, NAGKAMIT NG IKATLONG PWESTO SA DIVISION RANDOM MDAS AUTHOMATHICITY CHALLENGE

LUNGOG, NARVACAN, ILOCOS SUR — Muling nagbigay ng karangalan sa Lungog Integrated School (LIS) si John Elrick De Guzman ng Grade 9 Molave matapos niyang makamit ang Ikatlong Pwesto (3rd Place) sa Division Random MDAS Authomathicity Challenge Grade 9 – Category B.

Ipinamalas ni John Elrick ang kanyang husay, bilis, katumpakan, at lohikal na pag-iisip sa Matematika sa naturang kompetisyon. Ang kanyang mahusay na pagganap ay patunay ng kanyang sipag, determinasyon, at kahandaang harapin ang mga hamon sa larangan ng matematika.

Ang tagumpay na ito ay isang karangalan hindi lamang para kay John Elrick kundi para sa buong Lungog Integrated School. Ipinakikita nito ang patuloy na pagsisikap ng paaralan na malinang ang kasanayan, kumpiyansa, at kahusayan ng mga mag-aaral sa Matematika.

Taos-pusong binabati ng Lungog Integrated School ang lahat ng mga mag-aaral ng LIS na lumahok sa MDAS Challenge. Ang inyong tapang na makilahok, pagsisikap, at kahandaang kumatawan sa paaralan ay isa nang tagumpay na dapat ipagmalaki.

Isang espesyal na pagbati rin sa mga coaches, Sir Marvin Ebojo, Sir Jameson Quiocho at Maam Corazon Espiritu na walang sawang gumabay, nagsanay, at nagbigay ng suporta sa ating mga kalahok. Ang inyong dedikasyon at paggabay ay malaking bahagi ng tagumpay ng ating mga mag-aaral.

LIS PARTICIPATES TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT FOR GRADE 10 LEARNERS

Learners of Lungog Integrated School (LIS) took part in the Technical Assessment for the Computer-Based National Career Assessment Examination (CBNCAE) for Grade 10 learners, pursuant to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2026 and relevant BEA advisories.

The activity is being administered in schools across the Schools Division of Ilocos Sur from September 21 to 30, 2026, as announced through Division Memorandum No. 272, s. 2026 dated September 10, 2026.

The assessment aims to provide learners with opportunities to explore and better understand their career interests, abilities, and potential pathways as they prepare for the next stage of their education.

With the guidance and support of the school administration and teachers, LIS learners actively participated in the computer-based assessment and demonstrated cooperation, responsibility, and readiness throughout the activity.

The participation of LIS learners in this assessment highlights the school’s continuing commitment to providing career guidance and meaningful learning experiences that help learners make informed decisions about their future educational and career pathways.

Lungog Integrated School officially kicked off the Teachers’ Month Celebration with a meaningful program initiated by the 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂) and the 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙂).

The celebration highlighted the dedication, sacrifices, and commitment of our teachers in guiding and shaping the lives of every learner. 💛

During the kick-off program, the SSLG President shared this heartfelt message to all teachers:

BAGONG GUSALI, BAGONG PAG-ASA: SINIMULAN NA ANG PAGPAPATAYO NG BAGONG SCHOOL BUILDING SA LIS

LUNGOG, NARVACAN, ILOCOS SUR — Isang mahalagang yugto sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng Lungog Integrated School (LIS) ang nasasaksihan ng buong school community ang pagsisimula ng pagpapatayo ng isang dalawang-palapag na apat na silid-aralan na school building sa paaralan.

Ang proyekto ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap na mapabuti ang learning environment at madagdagan ang mga pasilidad na maaaring gamitin ng mga mag-aaral ng LIS. Ang Lungog Integrated School ay isang pampublikong paaralan sa Lungog, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, na naglilingkod sa mga mag-aaral mula Kindergarten hanggang Grade 12. 

Ayon sa project information board na nakapaskil sa construction site, ang proyekto ay para sa Construction of 2-Storey 4-Classroom School Building (Phase 1) na may halagang ₱7,104,801.83. Nakasaad din na ang Local Government Unit of Narvacan ang implementing agency at Ambrocio Construction ang contractor/supplier. Ang proyekto ay may itinakdang 200 calendar days na duration.

Ang pagsisimula ng konstruksyon ay kasunod ng matagumpay na Bayanihan Demolition Project ng paaralan, kung saan nagtulungan ang mga g**o, magulang, barangay officials, alumni, volunteers, at iba pang stakeholders upang maihanda ang lugar para sa bagong gusali.

Hindi lamang konkretong gusali ang itinatayo sa proyektong ito. Kasabay nito ang pagbuo ng mas maayos, mas ligtas, at mas angkop na learning environment para sa mga batang LISians.

“Bayanihan ngayon, bagong gusali bukas!”

Sa patuloy na pagtutulungan ng DepEd, LGU Narvacan, Barangay Lungog, mga magulang, g**o, alumni, stakeholders, at buong LIS community, unti-unti nang nagiging realidad ang pangarap para sa isang mas maunlad na Lungog Integrated School.

Mula sa pagbabaklas ng lumang gusali, tungo sa pagtatayo ng bagong tahanan ng pagkatuto—isang bagong kabanata ng LIS ang nagsisimula.

LIS Holds 2nd General PTA Assembly, Distributes First-Term Report Cards

School strengthens parent–teacher partnership and highlights learner progress, safety, and welfare

LUNGOG, NARVACAN, ILOCOS SUR —Lungog Integrated School (LIS) conducted its 2nd General Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Assembly and First-Term Distribution of Report Cards for School Year 2026–2027 on September 18, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the LIS Covered Court.

The gathering brought together school personnel, PTA officers, and parents to discuss important matters concerning learner progress, school programs, child protection, school safety, disaster risk reduction and management, attendance, and learner welfare.

During the assembly, School Principal Dexter John C. Collo, EdD presented updates on the school’s first-term accomplishments and learner progress, as well as the school priorities and directions for the current school year. The activity also emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration among the school, parents, and the community.

“Our learners’ success is a shared responsibility. When the school and parents work together, we create a stronger support system that helps every learner grow, learn, and achieve their potential.”— Dr. Collo.

The program also featured discussions on child protection and anti-bullying, learner safety and DRRM, attendance and participation, and the proposed PTA programs, projects, and activities. An open forum provided parents with an opportunity to raise concerns, share suggestions, and agree on concrete actions to support learners.

The assembly culminated in the awarding and distribution of First-Term Report Cards per classroom, giving parents a clearer picture of their children’s academic progress and areas that may need further support.

Through the activity, LIS reaffirmed its commitment to building a strong school–home partnership toward meaningful learning and the holistic development of every learner.
