LGU NARVACAN SYMPOSIUM AT PARATONG
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 🏫

Paratong Elementary School, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Narvacan, successfully conducted the Symposium on the Safe Spaces Act (R.A. 11313) and the AntiBullying Act of 2013 (R.A. 10627) on July 29, 2026. ✍️ 📝

Our learners truly enjoyed the session and actively participated. The discussion left a lasting impact on them as they learned about their rights, safety, and the value of respect and kindness.

Commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award 🇵🇭 | PARATONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Today, our school joins the nation in commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award.

A significant milestone that reminds us of the importance of upholding international law, protecting our national heritage, and fostering unity among Filipinos.

Sir Walter A. Nolasco, Principal III headed the gathering together with the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Paratong Elementary School. As it aims to strengthen the values and patriotism of Filipino Youth.

May this commemoration inspire every learner to uphold the values of unity, respect, responsibility, and service to the nation as we work together toward a stronger and more resilient Philippines.

Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill | Paratong Elementary School

Paratong Elementary School actively participated in the CY 2026 Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
(NSED) today, June 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM, pursuant to DepEd Division Memorandum
No. 339, s. 2026.

Our learners and teachers practiced "Duck, Cover, and Hold" to strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure safety at all times. In preparation for the so called "The Big One"

Preparedness saves lives. We continue to intensify our Information, Education and Communication campaign for disaster resilience in line with DepEd's DRRM goals.

Paratong Elementary School was honored to welcome Dr. Elsie Rigunay, Education Program Supervisor from the Schools Division Office of Ilocos Sur, during her visit today, June 15, 2026. The visit was made possible with the support of Sir Wilfredo Sanidad Jr., Principal IV of Narvacan South District.

Dr. Rigunay, who once served as a teacher in this very school, reminded our faculty of the importance of mental health and self-care. She emphasized that maintaining personal well-being enables teachers to provide quality instruction and guidance to learners.

She also highlighted our Value of the Month for June: SELF-DISCIPLINE, encouraging all teachers to model discipline in time management, work ethic, and conduct, and to instill the same value in our learners.

Dr. Rigunay expressed her appreciation for the remarkable improvements and positive changes she observed in Paratong ES since her time as a teacher here. We are grateful for her return, her words of encouragement, and her continued commitment to the growth of our school and its educators.
