CES receives 5 lapel microphones/amplifiers

Teachers of Casilagan Integrated School gratefully received five (5) lapel microphones from the Department of Education (DepEd). The much-appreciated equipment will be a valuable support for teachers, especially in handling combination or multigrade classes, Aug 12.

The lapel microphones will help teachers deliver instructions and lessons more clearly while reducing the strain on their voices. It is especially useful in a learning environment where teachers need to address different groups of learners at the same time.

For Mrs. Haydee S. Samoranos, Teacher VI, the lapel is more than just a piece of equipment, it is a helpful tool in making teaching more effective.

“Maraming salamat po sa DepEd sa pagbibigay ng lapel microphones. Malaking tulong po ito sa aming mga g**o, lalo na sa amin na humahawak ng combination class. Makatutulong ito upang mas malinaw naming maiparating ang aming mga aralin at mapangalagaan din ang aming boses.”

From Plans to Action: AIP 2026

DepEd Tayo - Casilagan Integrated School Teacher-in-Charge, Mrs. Merlyn Sotelo successfully presented the school’s Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) 2026 at Narvacan North Central School, August 12.

The successful presentation was the fruit of her countless sleepless nights of preparation, careful revision, and continuous improvement, all aimed at making Casilagan Integrated School better and stronger. Her dedication shows that every good plan becomes meaningful when it is prepared with heart, hard work, and a clear purpose.

Like a lamp that guides the way, Ma’am Merlyn’s leadership continues to inspire the school community. Her preparation was like planting seeds for a better future, while the successful presentation became a bright step toward progress.

Moreover , our heartfelt gratitude goes to our esteemed appraisers: Ma’am Madeline R. Aglibut, District Supervisor; Ma’am Debbie Saraos of the Governance and Operations Division (SGOD); Ma’am Janella Kate Quillopo of the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS); and Ma’am Ma. Theresa D. Ines of School-Based Management (SBM).

Thank you very much for your positive feedback, valuable insights, constructive comments, and meaningful recommendations during today’s SIP/AIP presentation and appraisal. Your guidance and thoughtful suggestions are truly appreciated. They will serve as valuable inputs in strengthening and continuously improving our school plans, programs, and initiatives for the betterment of our learners and the entire school community.

This achievement was not a one-person effort. It was made possible through the joint collaboration of teachers, SPTA, pupils, Barangay Officials, and the entire community. Together, they became the strong hands that helped build and shape the school plans for a brighter tomorrow.

The successful AIP presentation is more than a presentation, it is a roadmap, a shared dream, and a promise to keep moving forward for the betterment of every learner and the whole school community.

Paglulunsad sa Pampaaralang Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika

Matagumpay na inilunsad ng Casilagan Integrated School ang Pampaaralang Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika matapos ang isinagawang flag ceremony noong Agosto 3. Dinaluhan ito ng mga g**o at mag-aaral bilang hudyat ng pagsisimula ng mga gawaing magpapalalim sa pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa Wikang Filipino.

Nagbigay ng maikling mensahe si Gng. Merlyn Sotelo, Teacher-in-Charge, kung saan binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng Wikang Filipino bilang sagisag ng ating pagkakakilanlan at kultura. Hinikayat din niya ang mga mag-aaral na aktibong makilahok sa mga inihandang gawain at gamitin ang kanilang mga talento upang higit pang mapaunlad ang kanilang kakayahan at pagmamahal sa sariling wika.

Bilang bahagi ng programa, nagsagawa rin si Gng. Katrina Adviento ng oryentasyon tungkol sa iba’t ibang patimpalak na gaganapin sa buong buwan ng Agosto. Ipinaliwanag niya ang mga alituntunin at pamantayan para sa mga patimpalak sa Pagtula, Pag-awit, Pagbabaybay, at Pagsulat ng Komposisyon, upang maging gabay sa mga kalahok.

Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” inaasahang magiging makabuluhan at matagumpay ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika sa Casilagan Integrated School sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok ng buong komunidad ng paaralan.

Knowledge in Action: Casilagan IS conducts 2nd Summative Test for Term 1

Casilagan Integrated School successfully conducted the 2nd Summative Test for Term 1 to assess the learners’ understanding and mastery of the competencies taught during the first term. July 28.

The assessment aimed to measure students’ academic progress and identify areas that need further improvement.

The conduct of the examination was closely monitored by Mrs. Merlyn Sotelo, Teacher-in-Charge, who visited the classrooms to ensure that the testing procedures were properly implemented. She reminded both teachers and learners of the importance of maintaining honesty, discipline, and fairness throughout the examination.

Teachers ensured that the testing environment remained orderly and conducive to learning, allowing the learners to focus and perform at their best. The successful administration of the assessment reflects the school’s commitment to quality education and continuous monitoring of learners’ academic performance.

Through regular assessments such as the 2nd Summative Test, Casilagan Integrated School continues to uphold its mission of providing meaningful learning experiences while promoting excellence, integrity, and academic achievement among its learners.
